★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very fresh bao. Try the chicken glutinous rice too! Hand made and steamed on the day itself. Recommend to go early as their baos get sold out as early as 9.30am, do expect long queues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hand made bao by young couple. Consistent good quality baos. They close shop for the day after they sold out for the day. Likely to be late morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a big bao and glutinuos rice (dai bao, loh mai gai) here in early March 2020.
They make their baos fresh, on site, by hand. This is a rare heritage and a delicious one too.
Come early and be prepared to queue a bit. I was there at 0645AM and there was a queue.
The place is in a typical Singapore market+hawker centre. So you can also get other food items and beverages from the nearby stalls. Seats are plentiful; the ambience is busy as it is a market area.
Service is what you'd expect. It's straightforward and efficient. Nothing to it.
The baos have a good balance of dough and filling where the dough is just thick enough to keep the filling inside with just some hints of the juices and grease seeping through but maintains the bun's structural integrity, but it isn't so thick that it overwhelms the filling. The bun texture is soft and has the unmistakable "skin" that some people peel off before consuming the bun. The meat filling is succulent and flavorful and is accompanied by a small green veggie leaf. I'm.guessing it's lettuce.
I'm more used to seeing "dai bao" being larger but maybe that's how these guys do it here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typically only big pau (大包)is available, while freshly made the skin is soft and thin, fillings are fresh too. As good as the father’s stall at Toa Payoh Lor 8.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice 'big pau' but it is very small as it does not look big at all. Really the cost of it went up alot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 Stars Warning, so be prepared!
1. WAIT min.30 to 60mins for handmade big paus. made and steamed on site.
2. BE EARLY, most of the times sold out before 8am
3. AFTER ORDERING, do not wander off until you have collected your orders, or else your orders will be forfeited.
Know the above 3 pointers and you shall be rewarded with the best handmade dimsum (big pau is must have) in the West.
Definitely highly recommended!
Closed every Sunday and Monday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Each batch of bao is freshly made and steamed to perfection.
But what’s amazing is how much Filling is inside and how thinly wrapped.
Keep up the hardworking standards, it’s a reward to each bite!
