★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought half chicken for take away. When asked if there is chilli inside the pack, the man said it's inside. Didn't bother to ask for more chilli as some stalls quite stingy on chilli but trust they will give reasonable amount of chilli for half chicken.
Went home and discovered only given 1 small pack of chilli for half chicken !!!
My mood affected as I need enough chilli for my chicken. I think they shd give at least 2 packs of chilli by default for half chicken.
Will not bother to let them earn my $$$$ after this. Too stingy. Support other hawkers during this COVID.

Food quality: Tender, juicy soy sauce chicken with bones. Springy and well-done noodles that aren’t just nicely done, not too soft nor hard.
Guo Tiao is much more average and felt a bit soggy.
Pretty nice soup as well.
Food portion / Price: $3/4 for soya sauce chicken / char siew rice or noodle or Guo Tiao - for portions given it’s pretty good value and filling especially $4 meal!
Expect a queue though they turnover fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at the heartland of Bedok, this is a treasure, The soya sauce chicken is succulent and juicy. I have not tasted neither roast pork nor the char siew. The sauce is different it is not too sweet. It has got the ginger fragrant and yet there’s another added taste to it which I couldn’t figure it out. (S$5). Patrons expect to wait for your food, there will be a long queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5 stars rating of Soy Sauce Chicken, their chicken was tender and the taste just nice. The mee kia is Q. Wanton with meat and prawn sold out before 9am. Sgd15 for whole chicken is definitely worth for the money.

Initially taste was good and I respect them for selling at such reasonable prices. But after eating recently, I found the taste is lacking. Hope the standard don't drop further.

Finally got to try this forever close damn early or never open stall! Really good at $15 for whole chicken! Giving the Michelin-starred one a run for his money. In fact, I thought this is better. Try the dry dumplings (shui jiao), yummy with prawns inside. Individual rice or noodle plates at $3/$4. Not on any delivery platforms so be prepared to queue like mad. #eatwithroy
