β β β β β My go-to place for reasonably priced and great tasting zichar in the neighborhood. You can't go wrong with usual suspects like prawn paste chicken, sweet & sour pork, meat roll and fish steamboat. Btw they also cook a fantastic assam fishhead.

β β β β β One of my fav zhichar stall in the east. Food is really delicious. Owner very friendly. Highly recommended the chai poh tofu. This place get a bit crowded on the wkend.

β β β β β Awesome food at Qiang Lim Seafood Fish head steamboat. Needless to say, the main draw of this place is the fish steamboat. Very fresh and great quality soup base.
Place is quite crowded and located at the corner of a coffee shop at 69, Bedok South Ave 3. Gotta look for how chap, ah Boy to recommend the dishes and you will be pleased with his service and helpfulness. Chilli crabs gravy was superb, salted egg crabs is a must try.
My personal favourite dish would be the green vegetable stir fried with mushrooms and garlic. Absolutely satisfying.
So do head down and give this place a try. If you are coming with a big group, please call to reserve a place.

β β β β β My first encounter of ι¦εΊη±³η²! An interesting plate of crunchy yet tender beehoon smothered in signature tzi-char sauce (hor fun sauce). A pity it was a little under seasoned... just a little bit of salt would have brightened up this noodle dish! Friendly stall helper.
Update 2020/10/13: had claypot noodle (under seasoned) and deep fried prawn rolls (very well done, in fact, one of the best I ever tried!).

β β β β β Exceptional value for tasty zhi char food. Marmite pork ribs are excellent as is the tofu hotplate, their sliced fish, venison. . . A family of 3 eats very well for $40+/- with 2 medium and one small veg dish. Facing the car park and no high rise blocks, it's light and airy and the staff are friendly too.
