β β β β β Not recommended! Picture of the rice crystal clear as Batang Fish. Don't be cheated from the picture. The seller using Patin Fish?. Do remember it's super Oily. After ate, feeling to throw out. Not all consumers like it, please update the menu picture. First and last visit. Good luck!

β β β β β Have always enjoyed dining at Encik Tan due to the variety offered. For the portion size and aircon environment, I think the price point is pretty reasonable ranging from $4 to $6 or more depending on what you order. Claypot rice is $5.50 and itβs so fragrant and pretty well cooked for the price point. Take you receipt to the drink store and get $1 lime juice.

β β β β β Order this oyster omelette and taste was ok. Also order black carrot cake which didnβt mange to take a photo, taste was not right and aftertaste itβs sour. Itβs really unacceptable.

β β β β β The person working at the noodle section almost forgot my order (despite the fact it was off peak hours) till I reminded him, the noodle portion was greatly reduced and the standard was so disappointing. On top of that, he hardly speak English and was totally rude.

Classic ambience with local & Malaysian influence street food. Great for big groups as it is quite spacious.
Expect crowd during peak hours especially on weekends. Popiah & Pie Tee is also available but it's selling out fast! They replaced it with the Penang Pasembur.
