Best Cafe in Singapore

J	J H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Hokkaido oyster and white cream omu rice, Hokkaido style karaage and Hokkaido style soufflé pancakes. All of them were super yum. The oysters in the omu rice were fluffy in the inside. Had an interesting texture (can’t figure out how they cooked it) but very delish. Didn’t quite like the vinegar sauce that came with the karaage though. But the fried chickens were good to eat on their own without any additional seasoning. Maybe a slice of lemon would have been better? The soufflé pancakes were freshly made, just out of the kitchen. Very very satisfying with the milk ice cream - yum yum yum.
A	Alan Tang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the Cafe looked cosy, the sofa seats weren’t so comfortable, maybe the area was too tight for the big sofa seats. The upright chair seating looked better. For our group of 3 adults and two children, we ordered 3 mains, one sides and two desserts (double pancake soufflé). The Angus Beef in the two beef mains were tough, believe incorrect cuts were used. Actually wasted the good beef. The Hokkaido Carbonara was very good although the salmon slices were a little over cooked. But the creamy sauce with ikura was delicious. French fries with cheese toppings was unusual, the children loved this. The pancake soufflé were good, nice and soft.

The food was beyond my expectation though price is at the high side, i enjoy the soufflé egg which is light and like cloud but is a bit weird when the rice is salty taste. But overall memorable experience and would come back if nearby and no need to queue (see a lot low rating comments are about long waiting time which I would try to avoid usually
X	Xin Liang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decoration is good, furniture also good, but food is like just heat up some frozen food, come to table even cold inside. Smells bad also. We ordered beef stew and pasta, all like that. Only the dessert is nice.
J	Jan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mentaiko pasta was the best in my opinion, and I forgot to take a pic of that! The cream was just nice, light yet flavourful. My friend and I finished the whole plate easily. The desserts were good and service was satisfactory.

The rib eye was really fatty and even eating the small portion made me feel so guilty. But it was the only bit of meat so I ate it up. The salad was just some leaves thrown together without thought. Pancake was light but cold . Hush puppies was fast food fare. Same thing with omu rice and scrawny scallops . Very expensive too. Without drinks, the meal came up to nearly $50.00 for the two bentos .
