Very very average experience. Gave this place a try as they offered student meals. $10 for steak with pasta is honestly good value regardless of quality. As such, I wonโ€™t give it any lower than 3 stars. The food came relatively quick but I was a little disappointed. The pasta was flavoured but not particularly flavourful. I wouldnโ€™t call it aglio olio because it was not spicy and it didnโ€™t have the garlic flavours expected. I requested for the steak to be prepared medium but received something closer to a medium well. The meat was very fibrous and hard to bite or even cut through. Iced lemon tea was just meh really. No faults for service but nothing was outstanding.

Pretty great value for money in a casual setting with attentive and polite staff :) Portions are ample. Can never go wrong with the prawn linguine aglio olio - each dish has around 5 juicy prawns! Plus peas, mushrooms, v tender and flavourful cherry tomatoes, and the olives give the overall garlicky taste an interesting twist. Satisfied my craving for comforting Italian food without breaking the bank. Steak was slightly tougher than expected for medium rare, but still tasty and well seasoned. Goes well with the brown sauce and truffle butter sauce (add on). Comes with a huge "side" of pasta and leafy salad. Presentation isn't the best but no complaints there given the affordable price tag, good service, clean premises, and yummy food.

Used to be a regular here but recently the standard and quality of food dropped, especially the steaks, signature platter and even the ribs. Look at how the steak has rubbery tendons that refuses to be cut and the off-coloured ribs! Will not be visiting again

Ordered 1) kids meal fish and chips 2) new zealand grass fed striploin w/ tomato soup and fresh lime juice 3) penne beef bolognese w/ tomato soup and ice lemon tea 4) coke float dont know where to start..... 1) the fish was room temperature and it was very soft(close to soggy) instead of crispy(not sure if it's because it's in the kids menu) and it is also a little pricey for just the fish and chips with a small cup of orange juice/coke. (this cost $6.90 and also, the orange juice was very sour) 2) the steak was rare(we asked for medium rare) and the food was room temperature 3) the penne was cold and only the sauce and meat were somewhat hot. 4) the ice cream on the coke float barely looked like a full scoop All soups and drinks(except the orange juice & coke float) were very watered down. super disappointed. we had Hot Tomato at funan before and we loved it. we are very very very disappointed with what we were served with today. at least the staff are nice so +1 i guess

Came lunch time, not really pack during the time. I order baby back combo. Didn't really like the baby back ribs. Too dry. Prawn was good. Tomato was edible. Fries too many small cut at this portion. Serving time was quite quick for western food. The combo in starter is just nice for 3 person. 3 wings, 3 sausages, I think also 3 calamari only. Couldn't recall on the calamary.

It was a decent place with average food. The steak, pork chop and salmon was quiet decent for the price. The prawn had almost little or no meat in it and the tomato soup was too watery. The lime juice said it was fresh on the menu, but it probably came out of a can. Decent place for a quick lunch. A meal for 4 cost roughly SGD 70.

Even though there was a queue on a Friday night (~750pm) , we were served quickly. All three of the staff who served us were so pleasant and nice, the food was served faster than expected. The food tastes as expected and itโ€™s worth it for the price point. We had salmon salsa w pasta, truffle fries and mushroom soup. The serving for the truffle fries was so worth for $4.90! Hot and crispy, definitely worth it. Happy and satisfying meal :-)

Not the first time eating at this restaurant but the first in this outlet @ Paya Lebar Quarter. Wallet friendly food with cozy atmosphere. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Ordered beef steak, shrimp combo and fish. Serves reasonable good dishes even on a late Sat evening. Staff are busy but food is still up to the mark. Everyone is happy. Even my another friend who has stomach inflammation gets to enjoy her dory fish without issues.
