โ โ โ โ โ Yellow, old looking rooms with old wooden furniture, found two cockroaches in the room. There was a bug exterminator truck parked outside when i checked in so it must be a known problem. Poor lighting, old AC that hardly works.
Half of these problems would be solved with very little money, lazy administration.
A bucket of paint and quality light bulbs would fix the room. But right now it's just not worth 70$ a night.
Smoker rooms. Lots of cigarette burns over the curtains, found ashes upon checking in.
All fine, just bothered by cockroaches.

โ โ โ โ โ Location of hotel is good due to access to food but room has no hair dryer which I consider as a basic necessity.. Younger staffs not polite

โ โ โ โ โ This hotel is good enough for me. The location is quite far from the MRT station but it's not too far from food court and supermarket. The nearest MRT station is Aljunied station, but actually there is bus station near hotel. The hotel condition is good enough. The staff is kind, humble and helped us so much when my friend was sick during staying here. We got mineral water and coffee.

โ โ โ โ โ I didn't have high hopes for the Compass. We arrived in town and everything was booked out. I was, however, pleasantly surprised!
It is old, but it's comfortable, clean and friendly too. And at Singapore prices an absolute bargain. It's not the Ritz, but it has an echo of former glory, and the staff are so helpful!

โ โ โ โ โ I really liked this place. The staff there are really kind (I got gifts from the front the desk because it was my birthday). It's very affordable and suits for budget travellers. Rooms are clean and bathroom is nice.

โ โ โ โ โ The staff members at the counter were friendly. I did not have high expectation of the place, since that the building was an old building. Cleanliness-wise was ok, although I did see small cockroaches. They did not bother me much. Got the complimentary bottles of water and 3-in-1 coffee mix.

โ โ โ โ โ It's rather inexpensive. On the other hand the whole hotel including my room smelled like a smoker's place. The furniture and TV were in bad shape tbh. One bedlamp fell down and broke while I turned it on, i assume it was badly fixed before. (I had to pay for it) But considering the price, it's ok.
(Stayed there during the F1 GP in 2019)

โ โ โ โ โ the room is vary dirty and the smell is like smoker smell.There don't have even a toothbrush & toothpaste.Dob't have blanket. Body wash also finish already. never refill.the smell of whole room is smell. so many ants on the table.No coffee and no tea pack.only have 1cup?.There have small fridge also .But inside very yellow and so dirty.I think never clean for 1month.So dirty and please don't go.I got take some pictures to review but I can't review with pictures
