★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good bowl of old school bak Chor mee. Prefer this to the other popular stall Lai Heng in TPY. Lai Heng more vinegar taste and soup less umami.
Seller takes time to cook and prepare the noodle and soup. The soup is better than most stalls I have tried and really umami. Ingredients are a bit little for $4.50 but the vinegar mushroom adds to the nice taste. Noodles are also al dente and nice. Point to note is they don’t serve mee pok but mee Kia only. Also no pork liver which is a shame but hard to find one that is perfect anyway. Will certainly be back to eat again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So near yet so far is the way to describe. I live so near to this BCM stall, yet don't always get to eat it, queue is mostly very long. Will eat at least once a week, best Bak Chor Mee in SG IMO.
