When you are thousands of kilometres from an Aussie flat white and really need a true tasting coffee, this place will not disappoint. Returned several times to good hot consistent espresso extract.... don't let this place pass you by

I’ve had a few Americanos from different places but I will say their iced Americano with extra espresso shot is certainly pleasing. + Looks great + Very low acidity ~ Average aftertaste ~ Decently priced ($5.50) Their Pesto Mushroom Wrap are also quite satisfying, good taste and good amount of filling but a bit pricey at $6.2. Their staffs welcomed me warmly with a good morning happily, outlet is also well furnished and clean.

Nice place to chill... Tried the Iced Kopi. Doesn't serve the korsong (black/no sugar) option. Didn't like it, not because no korsong, but it tasted like regular coffee from anywhere but priced above regular. Till I have the chance to try other items on the menu....

We tried their kopi c and teh c and they were pretty good tbh. The banana walnut speculoos muffin was rather tasty too, though I think I prefer it to be a little more moist. Still, it's definitely one up when you compare it with the alternatives (within the same mall) in my opinion. Plus the space has a pretty chill vibe and comfortable seating.

Friendly and comfy cafe to relax with friends and family or work at. I tried the espresso mocha frappe and banana walnut muffin..both were great. But for those looking to work here, there are no plug points or free wifi available.

Nice coffee and dessert. There are 2 private rooms for single person usage that comes with head phone and power point for laptop.

Huggs @ Jem, I have always enjoy the coffee here but today I am disgusted with the service provided and hope the management could improve it. Besides the coffee, I ordered an apple crumble pie with a request to warm it up. It was served cold and I requested 2nd time to warm it up, the timing set on the oven was 12 seconds. Which type of food would become warm within 12seconds, especially coming straight from the fridge? As you would expect, the pie was still cold. I approached the supervisor telling her the cold pie is unacceptable who in return explained the apple crumble pie could not be warmed up further as it will be burnt. The explanation was absurd, all the food on display including quiche, croissants, scones, etc could be served warm. I requested her to warm it up the 3rd time with a longer time setting and she presented a burnt pie with 1 minute setting. She was trying her best to justify the pie will be burnt as shown in the picture below and suggested a refund several times. As a customer, I am here to consume and unless the food has turned sour, I feel the supervisor should not suggest a refund to close this matter. I refused the refund and asked her to warm up a new one with 30 or 40 sec setting and the apple crumble pie came out perfectly warmed. I was glad the supervisor solved my problem as a customer after trial & error. The supervisor has also mentioned there are timing set and laid out for different food items. In this case, the oven setting for apple crumble pie should be adjusted as no cold food can be warmed in 12 seconds!! The lack of knowlege in kitchen is also not helpful. If 12 seconds do not work, the staff should extend the timing slightly and not to an extent of one minute which resulted to a burnt pie. I hope Huggs will also remind the staff it is not just a task to complete the sales order, it is about attending to customer's needs.

Second time trying Huggs, with the first one in the CBD area after lunch. The double chocolate frappe was a lot like a syrup drink, which was bad in all ways possible.. It definitely is well furnished though, with a very comfortable sofa chair being placed in the centre of the store. But given that they just started, reserving further comments for future visits, especially on the coffee and waffle and ice cream. Update, May 2022: Dropping it from 2 stars to 1 The waffle was quite hollow, crispy yes, flavourful meh. The oat meal chocolate gelato was okay, but the coffee version is horrendous - pretty much a frozen kopi, nothing premium about it.. It’s also questionable how they push out orders, waffles done, paired with ice cream, and then they went to do up my cone - end result? Melted gelato on the waffle at the point of receiving. Probably won’t return given these experiences..
