β β β β β Like any other Japanese eatery place, that serves bento, sushi and sashimi. But if you are a sushi and sashimi lover, I would definitely not recommend this place. This Japanese restaurant PROVIDES limited packages of wasabi ( which is about the amount of a 10 cent coin ) if you are consuming a raw food. And you cannot request for more wasabi! This is outrageous! Do reconsider your choices if you intend to patronise Ichiban Bento ( under RE&S )

β β β β β Very poor customer service! Waited very long for the food and have to go multiple times to pick up our food and in the last minute mentioning that one of ourder is out of stock then I asked why they are only informing in the last minute. The answer was they are busy. What an excuse.

β β β β β I ordered online a tonkotsu ramen to them for the first time. This is the worst tonkotsu ramen i've ever tried. Period. It has no taste and no flavor at all. Its bland! Whats happening? Why they consider calling it tonkotsu ramen? I'm very disappointed. I actually seasoned it again with some salt and anything I can find just to give it a flavor. I'm even excited to eat coz im famished but when I ate it. Everything is going down. Very disappointing! I will definitely recommend this to my friends. To not ever try to order their so called tonkotsu ramen.

β β β β β Food was nice and price reasonable. The teriyaki sauce was sweet but yet savoury too. Although the unagi is slightly hard but for the price I can accept. Looking for affordable unagi meal. This is the place. You can opt for sets such as miso soup, chawamushi, goyza, drink etc. I had a great lunch thanks to them!

β β β β β Ever since they increased their prices and changed the Gyoza in the bento into some cheap awful tasting fish nugget, their service standard have also dropped significantly. Not only do their bento set often come without something eg. the egg or the pickle etc, their main dish like the black pepper beef will be very dry and tough while having hardly any sauce on it. Their new curry udon is excessively watery and diluted, the proportions of the beef is also miniscule. Not only that, their regular sushi selection is often limited, you cant get eg. the scallop or unagi ones as early as right after lunch hours and it feels like the staff arent willing to replenish the display shelves when you ask them. Also, the staff there seems rather impatient and patronizing when we ask them something. Is there some kind of identify crisis going on at this outlet?
