★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great addition amidst this stretch that’s over-populated with western cuisine joints. Isshin Machi serves up great and affordable Taiwanese dishes. I had their popular Braised Pork rice and my companion had the beef noodles. We added $1 for their homemade noodles which was chewy and had a great bite (take that al-denta pasta!) The place itself is also extremely clean and welcoming with its bright and open concept. Didn’t know this place is actually part of a popular chain so might head to its first outlet to taste the difference (if any).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Three cups chicken is da BEST that I have ever tried in Singapore. Love it. Their egg fried rice with fried chicken is very good. The chicken was tender and crispy. The braised pork rice was good too, but I prefer it to be slightly salty. Definitely going back to visit again for their noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Minimalist restaurant serving authetic taiwan food. Worth a visit if you crave for it. Whats popular is their handmade noodle and braised meat dish, not forgetting the fried chicken cutlet as well. The soup was pretty flavourful but best eat it while its hot. May be greasy once it cools. Cabbage is alright but i probably will not order again. Milk tea is good, as always

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently opened family eatery serving a good variety of Taiwanese food. Spacious with pleasant service. Affordable prices. If you enjoy Taiwanese cuisine, this would be a good place for a family meal. But I confess I'm not a great fan of Taiwanese food. Just tried the place out with my wife. Food was well presented and very edible. But I found it salty and not particularly exciting. But that's just me... Sorry.
