The lady boss speaks at least three languages fluently and can recommend a good sake based on your taste preferences. Probably the closest you can get to a Japanese experience locally that we've discovered so far. Maybe I was so impressed because I like my food to be simple but excellent and that is so difficult to find here. And the place which is spotless speaks to my love of small dive bars and also of the attention the owners put into the small details.
Excellent value for money. They have a strict policy for every diner to order drinks and after experiencing how much everything costs we can understand why. We want this place to be around for a long time. We will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly authentic experience. This place makes you feel like you are in Japan. The owner-san is so sincere and the food is amazing. Definitely worth visiting for the family-style dishes and good service! We were even given bags of snacks to take away!
Dried stingray is perfect, so was everything else.
