Perfect Ambience and food, at a discrete and quiet location. If you like Japanese and Korean cuisine this is a must-go resturant. It's got a diverse menu and a crazy wide selection of sake. Loved it, will definitely go again.

Came here for dinner with my friends and did not have a good experience unfortunately. We ordered the 12 piece seasonal sashimi (stated price on the menu was $92). We asked if the seasonal sashimi would be a white fish and the waiter didn’t know. He did not get back to us and it was only when we were served the dish that we found out it was kanpachi, with some fish roe wrapped in taco. There were only 9 pieces of the kanpachi and some random pieces of the fish roe. Not sure how this adds up to 12 pieces of sashimi and personally I feel we should have been informed if they were swapping out 3 pieces of sashimi with something else (which is usually the case based on my experience dining at other restaurants) but we decided to still go ahead as we didn’t want to make a fuss. What made the situation unpleasant was when we were served the bill and realized the seasonal sashimi was 104$. The waiter did not inform us of this and in fact, we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t check the bill. We had to bring this up before the waiter acknowledged the mistake. If the price of seasonal sashimi differs according to the type of fish available, the menu should NOT state a fixed price. This is misleading and also a misrepresentation. Also, the waiter should be quite clear on the type(s) of sashimi we would be getting and also the difference in price, which was not the case here. Ultimately, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends and probably will not go back again because I feel there are other places which are more worth the money and time. The food was okay but didn’t justify the poor service and high prices. UPDATE: the owner reached out to us and offered a refund for the misunderstanding. Hope this incident will not happen to future customers again and also all the best to the team.

cosy small restaurant with nice ambience. Came here on a Friday night and was full house. Can’t really tell what cuisine they are cos their extensive menu serves Japanese, Korea, Spanish, Chinese. The waiter does not seem to know what’s available or not. We ordered ohtoro sushi and the chef was nice enough to give us free upgrade to a better quality tuna for my friends’ birthdays. We ordered the beef shabu shabu and waited for really long but all the food tasted great. Would have been 5 ⭐️ if it is not so expensive. The beef shabu shabu was $75 for 4 slices (one person portion). Tips: you’ll have to remove your shoes to enter so wear something easy to put on and remove

A cosy restaurant offering a mix of Japanese, Korean and even little Spanish. Gave it a 4 star because it’s quite pricey and the service could be a little more attentive. Other than that you can be sure that the ingredients are the hero because of its finest and freshest quality. We ordered the Sukiyaki set at $88 p/ person where they cook it for you. You start with the platter of wagyu beef slices, onions, leeks and king oyster mushroom. Each person gets about 3 large slices of the wagyu beef, it were so delicious - buttery, full of flavour especially when dipped in the raw egg sauce - they way sukiyaki is meant to be enjoyed. After you are done, they come back to cook you the medley of mushrooms and vegetables. We also ordered their Tacoyaki as a starter. This Spanish dish is made Hokkaido octopus that is broiled in sake and sous vide for that crunchy soft taste. It sits on a bed of mashed potatoes and romesco sauce that was perfect on freshly toasted garlic bread. Not cheap at $58 but you pay for the quality. Like that they don’t hurry you, and you get to sit and dine until you are satisfied even with their limited space. Reservation was easy, sent them an email to reserve and they responded very quickly to confirm.

Oh, I really love this place! It recreates the traditional yet modernized vibe of a Japanese izakaya that gave me the feeling as if I’m in one in Japan. I can tell the owner have made great efforts to every detail of the interiors here. As for the food, we tried the special course and ordered okonomiyaki additionally. Everything is excellent and I especially love the yuzu oyster, big wagyu sushi, escargot and okonomiyaki. And there are still many dishes I would like to try on the menu. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

This restaurant which is behind the luxury neighbourhood of Orchard, serves awesome Japanese-Korean fusion food. Although the restaurant is small, the atmosphere is great. As usual, I have over-ordered, and highly recommend the following dishes: 1. Ponzu oysters 2. Doteyaki - beef tendon are so tender and tasty. The mushroom is well braised 3. Seasonal sashimi platter - the restaurant gave us pork miso paste for us to finish off the raddish slice used to plate sashimis 4. Big wagyu sushi 5. Squid with roes (I can't remember the name) 6. Uni on abalone Below dishes are good too, and the portion is huge 1. Grilled burikama 2. Karaage 3. Tacoyaki - spicy 4. Shoyu gyoza 5. Escargot 6. Huge maki - don't order this if you are not here as a big crowd. You will get the shock of your life.

I really like to love this place, boss is super friendly, very nice ambience, but service crew very aloof, don't know anything n have to pour our own bottle the whole night. Food wise to me is more on the sweet side but maybe it's subjective
