โ โ โ โ โ A hidden gem in the city centre. Been wanting to try this place and no regret at all. I always love the Japanese skewers and this place doesnt fail at all, too bad they didnt have 2 of the items i want from the skewers menu today (grilled pork & chic wing). Ambience was good and price was reasonable. Will definitely return.

โ โ โ โ โ No doubt this is a really great place to enjoy Izakaya. Awesome selection of food, but skewers come in sets of 3 instead of individuals. Overall good food and a cozy environment/ambience.

โ โ โ โ โ Old school & retro comforting establishment that is always a good place for comfort food. Homely, simple, basic & no frills. Simply divine in that way.
Love the no airs service rendered & selection.
They dun pretend to be serving any food that sometimes we can't pronounce but just all our well loved foods from grilled, derp fried, simmered sashimi & carbs.

โ โ โ โ โ Came here for dinner at around 6:30pm on a Friday. Waited for about 20 minutes before getting seated.
Ordered the assorted sashimi, ebi tempura, niku udon, fried pork set and ice green tea. The green tea is refillable. Apart from the ebi tempura, the rest of the food is ok/normal.
This place is more of eat and go due to the never ending queue. Ambience wise it does resembles the Japanese Izakaya you see on Japanese Drama.
Total paid about $110 for 2 pax.

โ โ โ โ โ Itโs the next best thing beside actually flying there. The experience you get is similar, very homely. The staff there are exceptionally friendly. Food is good, value for money. The moment you step out the restaurant..... you landed back in Singapore.... lol

โ โ โ โ โ Old school Izakaya-style establishment, serving delicious food at affordable prices. The place gives off an 80โs or 70โs vibe, just the way we like it. So far the dishes weโve tried were all good, e.g. soba, yakitori, tempura, etc. and were very reasonably priced. My buddy who lived and worked in Japan for 5 years or so, remarked that the food seemed authentic and brought back fond memories. Kudos also to the wait staff, especially the aunties who made sure we were stuffed hehe.
Good place to catch-up and hang out with old friends, well recommended!

Great salmon belly sashimi, grilled sticks (grilled mushroom was good!), unagi bento and grilled squid. We ordered warm sake too (but doesn't come with any warmer), and got a little cold too easily ? ...

โ โ โ โ โ Very homely izakaya with friendly service staff. Place fills up quick once they open for dinner. They have an extensive selection of food available, and all the items I ordered were really amazing. Worth the price and definitely will be back.
