β β β β β It's full of Japanese food. The price is more expensive but cheaper than taking an aeroplane. The instant noodles are interesting as u can eat as a snack.

β β β β β Not the best place to buy Japanese food products, especially the outlet at I12 Katong. Staff there are very unfriendly, both local and the Japanese staff(presumably the outlet manager, Seki) No greetings and thank you's! Really unlike the Japanese culture where customer service is highly valued. You get the feeling that customers are not welcomed to shop there, so don't shop there! You can get some of their products at The Marketplace a few doors away. Don't waste money on shops with poor customer service cos they don't deserve the patronage!

β β β β β J mart is really well stocked with all sorts of Japanese goodies. Really love the variety here so I know that Iβm never limited to 1-2 options per product.
The environment is clean, bright and very conducive for shopping. Items are well packed and described.
However, the prices can be a little steeper in comparison with the Donki. Though promotional items that are displayed at the shopfront may be pretty decent deals.

β β β β β While the variety and quality of Japanese food here is awesome, maybe the staff could be a bit more polite.am referring to the tampines outlet wherein the lady was hoarding the membership flyers as if they were β¦. What to say!
Anyways they lost a member today.
On the good side, the sake and the ice creams are excellent. Same goes for the other foods there.
Store is clean and bright and well laid out.
