They use unripe mango it was really sour can you imagine eating sour mango dipped in mango syrup. Don’t recommend this place. Go the the Ah Chew across velocity instead. The quality of desserts there will be way better.

SEVERELY UNDERWHELMING Service at Novena Square 2 outlet! Brought my gf to try the durian pomelo dessert today. Reached at 11am (your indicated operating hours on Sundays) but discovered your outlet was NOT even ready at all & your staff was just setting up! Despite this we waited, thinking that it would be open & ready soon enough. But your staff totally disregarded us, treated us as transparent throughout and continued as if nobody was there. She even glared at us! And while we were waiting at a table at the entrance, she came to wipe our table. Want to know how she did it? She just went up to our table and said “HELLO HELLO.” Don’t know how to say a simple “Excuse Me” is it? We ended up WAITING FROM 11am to 11.37am before your staff got the outlet ready and we could finally place our order! (all other retail shops around your outlet were already open & ready by 11am HELLO!) Throughout our wait, she not even have initiative & courtesy to inform us that the outlet would only be ready after 11.30am! We appreciate your staff is preparing the shop alone. But if you can’t get the stall ready by 11am, then don’t declare your operating hours as 11am!! We are your first customers for the day, and this is clearly highly disappointing. And when our dessert arrived the presentation of it was untidy and slipshod! Everything in this outlet from service to food to presentation pales seriously in comparison to your outlet at Jurong Point which is way more organised, dynamic & smoother! My gf and I were previously from retail & we know what to expect. this is HIGHLY unbecoming of retail F&b SERVICE staff! *oh btw, photo of staff was taken at 11.35am. Shop is still not ready for business at that time!!

The mango pomelo sago jelly is too overly sweet imo. I tried better ones out there. $5.60 for such a bowl, kind of not worth the price tagged.

Small shop with a huge menu. Prices were not cheap but reasonable for a mall. I personally did not enjoy the black sesame paste with tang yuan - there were multiple clumps of undissolved sesame powder and the tang yuan had thick skin that had not much taste. My husband had the chendol snow ice, which came with a variety of sides. There were more ice than sides to pair with.

tday i brought my parents to try the durian pomelo sago and yin yang paste at this outlet. The durian pulp is really tasty and filling for 3 of us. The female worker really gives friendly and fast service so we can get our dessert as soon as possible. Will bring my friends to here next time :)

This is a convenient way for busy moms to serve their families with old school desserts. I liked the ying yang almond cream with black sesame paste while my grandchildren enjoyed their steamed egg pudding and tang yuan.

I ordered takeaway for yam paste and sesame paste with tang yuan today for my family. It was still quite warm even after 15minutes and the food taste good. Hope to try out other desserts next time!

I really like their mango desserts and their mango yam sticky rice. Its not overly sweet and the portion is big enough to share with my friends! The workers are really friendly and their service is fast. I would love to visit Ji De Chi again :)
