★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered 7 desert bowls 3 days ago through order app. The deserts were either watered down or simply tasteless like the mango sticky rice and sesame paste with tang yuan. the green bean soup was mainly water and a string of beans. The paste were more starchy than anything else. i wonder how so many people actually gave so many stars. they either had a very very sweet tooth or paralysed in the mouth. The only one that was acceptable is the chedol snowy ice to to give a single star is too generous on my part.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered mixed sesame and almond paste dessert with tang yuan at 8:50pm. Paid $5.10 (in a takeaway container). The sesame and almond paste was served in large, starchy lumps. The entire dessert was just lumps without any smooth paste. I can't believe your service staff can bare to serve this to paying customers. Ji De Chi should have better quality control that this. If it's late in the day and your food is no longer up to mark, please toss it. What a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mango Sago Bowl but the jelly more than mango, notwithstanding the mango used was not riped enough it’s sour.
A bowl of red bean soup with lotus seed, but they forgot to remove the inner seed of the lotus seed which will caused the lotus seed taste bitter…Not sure it’s due to carelessness or the preparer unaware of the basics in preparing these desserts..quality losses evey time I visited, hope they take note of these and improve their recipes..this might be the last time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whatever looks like in the menu, the food tastes the opposite way.. this almond paste w glutinous rice is rated Must Try in the menu.. tried it 3 mouthfuls, then confirmed is Must NOT Try!! The glutinous rice taste sour, n the almond paste is lumpy!! ? No sweetness in the paste n the after taste/smell is chemical / medicinal.. this will be the last time I'm coming here.. the food prices are high here, compared to other comparable sellers.. not worth coming here at all..?

The durian snow ice even came with a generous dollop of delicious durian, and the snow ice itself tasted really authentic. Just wish that more cut mangoes were included given the steep price point (7.9). But overall I am really impressed with these two creative Chinese desserts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The desserts we ordered were nice: Osmanthus cake, almond paste and mango pomelo sago with grass jelly. We also have take away of our family’s favourite double skin milk. The place is alright for a short break but can become really warm as it is outdoor. Service can be a bit slow as there is only one person manning the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosy dessert outlet at Star Vista in the basement area next to Cold Storage. Highly recommended and a wide variety of hot or cold desserts. I had the matcha snowflake with yam cold dessert which was very tasty especially if you like red bean! At $6.9 on the pricey side but I was ok as I wanted to try it. Only a few tables available due to social distancing guidelines but they can take your reservation first and buZz you when a table is made available.
