The Kueh are just with mininal sweetness, wont feel burden even if i eat a few more of it. Nice subtle aroma from the kueh as well. Kueh skin also very thin with alot of paste inside. Friendly staff also.

The skin is soft and has the right thickness. The salted bean ang ku kueh was spicy as is black pepper overing green bean paste. The yam ang ku kueh is too sweet. The shop assistant suggested me to buy 5 pieces so that the ang ku kueh can be packed in a box. Ugh! I was disgusted and guilty to have used a foam box. If I like these ang ku kueh enough, I'd remember to bring my own box. It's obvious I won't.

a search for "top ang ku kueh in singapore" and ji xiang ang ku kueh came up. hence our travel outram to make a purchase. originally with the information from the website, we thought that the store opens at 8.30am. but the store was already in full operation when we arrived slightly after 8am. the kitchen and hand-made operations are in full view from the front of the store. each kueh sells for $1. we purchased 3 boxes with 2 boxes of mixed (peanut and mung bean). after leaving the store, we decided to try the kueh. the skin of the kueh is soft and thin... just the right texture. the mung bean version is also good. however, the peanut kueh is a disappointment. the peanut "paste" in our opinion, is too dense and compact making it... unpalatable. would be better if the peanut filling is looser and sweeter. alright. considering that we do not stay nearby, unlikely we will be back specially to make another purchase any time in the near future.. if the need arises, maybe an online order from the bugis outlet would suffice.

Finally get my hands on @jixiangconfectionery AKK! They only left peanut and sweet green bean when I reached. I love their AKK skin being so thin and soft, slightly sticky yet won’t stick to the teeth with a squeaky bite like mochi. They are filled with generous amount of filling and the sweetness level is perfect. Peanut AKK yield a sweet, fragrant and slightly crunchy peanut paste. The peanut in the paste here are ground pretty finely. This is a Must-Try! Sweet Green Bean AKK. The slightly crumbly green bean paste had the right balance of sweetness without being overwhelming. Definitely going back for other flavour like salted green bean, yam and coconut ? Ig: @zoey_belle_

Be prepared for a queue, but efficient and hardworking crew keeps it moving. First time I had tried the kueh snacks here. I ordered a variety pack including peanut, sweet bean, and yam. They are really large with quite a bit of filling compared to other skips. The skin texture was nice and chewy and inside flavors were pleasant and well mixed. Very friendly staff even though they are busy.

Really popular, 8 pax ahead in the queue & many flavours were sold out at 1plus pm on new year eve... The ones we bought - peanuts $1, green bean paste $1 & yam $1.20 were really delicious - skin thin and full filling.

One of the better AKK out there. Been eating theirs for many years. Thin skin, flavourful fillings. Particularly love their mung bean flavour. Love them all. Queue built up early but moves fast. Parking could be a challenge… there is a MSCP but a short walk required.

Most of u don't need and introduction to this place, they have been famous long before I knew about them. Its my usual spot to pick up these gooey snacks. Coconut or corn are my usual fix. The special experience I had was when I happened to pass the shop at 10am as they just opened I bought some. Piping hot , the moment I took a bite it literally dissolved in my mouth. It was amazing. These traditional snacks keep Singapore traditional alive. ?
