Egg tart is silky and not too sweet, just nice :) the crust is flaky too ? I also love their roasted chicken polo buns, the roasted chicken is very tasty inside although not super generous but I like it because I can still taste the polo bun on its own. btw, their polo buns (with fillings and plain) are all priced at $1.20. You'll also need to get 5 items to qualify for a pastry box otherwise, they all just pack them individually in plastic bags... With this price and the convenient location (right outside Tiong Bahru MRT), I'm not really complaining much. Wasn't expecting their service to be great in the first place so I can get by that. ? Tip!!! Give them a call to ask if the pastry you want is still available. Some of the polo buns can get sold out quite early in the afternoon. They are actually friendlier over the phone ?

Polo buns are well done, crusty on top paired with soft buns at the bottom.

i like their egg tart, unlike those buttery type in most shop. Even my mum who dislike egg tart due to the buttery taste, also love this tart. The rest are also nice. Usually we will toast it first, super yummy. will go and buy again.

Bought their egg tarts home for tea. Taste great even after heating it a bit in the microwave oven. The egg tart is silky and crispy. Love it!

Happen to walk past the shop opposite Chinatown Complex and gave it a try but was disappointed. The crust of the Western egg tart is way too thick and the egg custard lacks egg taste. It was also not smooth. Tried also the chicken pie. Didn't like it. The crust again is too thick and sweet. It taste funny with the supposedly savoury chicken filling. Overall, I don't find it authentic HK style at all. Tai Cheong egg tart is way better. Don't think I will be patronising again. And the pastries are expensive. All priced at $2@

Located in the busy tiong bahru neighborhood selling a variety of freshly made pastries. I do like their cookie egg tarts. Silky centre encased within a fragrant cookie crumb shell. The flaky version isn't too bad either but that has to be eaten fresh, but i do find the layers rather compact. My other favourite is the char siew sou, generous moist chicken char siew filling held together but a light outer pastry. Items are priced at $2ea or buy 10 free 1. Located at the row of shops outside exit A.

Was around the area so decided to check out this Hong Kong pastry shop. First time visit. The pastries looks fresh, prove by the making of pastries inside the shop. Larger than the usual variety of HK pastries are available here. Aimed for the egg tarts of course! A little disappointed as the base was not crispy enough. The filling is good though. Also tried the honey baked polo buns, red bean bun etc. Quite good. Feel bad giving 3 stars. Would have upped the stars if their egg tarts are significantly better than most others ?.
