โ โ โ โ โ Today is Good Friday, there is a sudden crowd in Marina Square compared to weekdays. Was looking for a place to dine with reasonable prices, this restaurant came in right for us. I'm with my 9 years old girl.
Although not the din Tai fun standard but the price is reasonable good.
For the price we paid, we get decent egg fried rice at sgd 6, 6 prawns dumplings $8.80, 6 pork and cabbage dumplings at $5.50, is totally a steal. Skin can be better or thinner though.
For people to serve you yet you paid like a food court pricing in Marina Square.
I love the appetizer smashed cucumber too.
My first and won't be my last.

โ โ โ โ โ Walked past during late afternoon and tot to give it a try.
The staff were having their break and one lady came to assist me. She is v nice and warm. 5 stars for the service.
I ordered pork trotter w rice, wanton in chilli sauce and veg. Pork totter was 2 star-the sauce was diluted and it was not cooked to the right texture . Rice was 3 star. Veg -normal 3 star. Wanton is 3 star -not much of filling. Perhaps I should have tried the noodle and dumplings.

โ โ โ โ โ Stumbled into this unassuming dumpling store at Marina Square and was pleasantly surprised. Throughly enjoyed the ๅฃๆฐด้ธก, which is a cold dish (we ordered seconds) and the beef noodles that was springy and flavourful. The beef was also very tender. We felt that the dumplings could have been filled more generously but they tasted good nonetheless. The filling is not dry, but resembles xiao long bao where thereโs โsoupโ when you bite into it. We liked the pork and chives dumplings over the pork and cabbage dumplings. Food is affordably priced, with good lunch deals on weekdays.

โ โ โ โ โ Happened to be nearby for appointment before lunch. Googled what's for lunch... Came across this dumpling place.
Initially we were tempted to order the lunch specials until we saw the menu with option for smaller serving which means we can try a variety of different dumplings.
The skins are super thin & juicy like Xiao long bao...
They upkeep their standards and did not serve us one of the dumplings that the skin happened to be broken with the rest of freshly cooked ones that were already plated. Instead it was replaced later.
All dumplings are good by its original taste... You don't need the dipping sauce to go with it. Ok... The chilli is really spicy... But is also really appetizing too.
Yes! It is so good that we even tabao more home to share with our family.
Highly recommended. Must check it out.

โ โ โ โ โ The dumplings were a 100% winner. Mushroom pork was voted the best, with the other types also good.
Would say that we could've eaten a meal of dumplings alone.
Value for money, because the price point is lower than say, Din Tai Fung or Crystal Jade.
The Beef Brisket Noodles were spiced and very flavorful. The beef was tender.
The Zha Jiang Noodles were very authentic (therefore highly seasoned). I really appreciated that the sauce was kept separate, such that I used it sparingly.
Overall would recommend.

โ โ โ โ โ Very tasty dumplings indeed (pork and cabbage, ไธ้ฒ๏ผ and abalone prawn) and Zha Jiang Mian is also nice. However, the pork trotters average though. Overall, a nice experience of Chinese dumplings.

โ โ โ โ โ It has been a long time since we last came to Marina Square.
So based on good reviews, we came to Jia He Xing Dumpling Restaurant. The food were nice, and the staffs were friendly. My whole family enjoyed the meal.
Will definitely drop by when we are at Marina Square.
