JW Silver

I bought a necklace with a pendant and subsequently several pairs of earrings from the JW Silver counter at Isetan Nex. During purchase of the necklace and the earrings, the sweet talking sales lady promised that JW Silver provides free repair if the necklace breaks or crystals drop etc, she said the repair is lifetime, no need to keep the receipt even. A few weeks later, my necklace broke at the joint which can be repaired by soldering a new hook to reconnect the necklace. I went back to the JW counter with the same lady. Her friendly attitude is no more. She said "are you sure you have bought from us? Even if its from us, we cannot help you to fix the chain as it will not look nice at the soldered point". I told her it was the hook that was broken and not the middle of the chain and reminded her of her promise during the time of purchase. She said they do not not repair chains no matter what. So much so for the promise of providing repair services during the point of purchase. It was just a lie to seal the sales. And how can a jewellery company claim they cannot rejoin a broken chain. I will never dare to make another purchase from them again. Such dishonesty.
