★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go to place for my haircut. Guy haircut reasonable, worth every cent Trendy and up to date styles and cuts. Had my haircut by several different stylists and all have consistent quality. Can say all very well trained. Place is quiet, and ambience is warm and cozy. 5/5!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was all okay for some time. Tried two to three different stylists at this salon before settling on Vaness. Bought a package of a few hundred dollars, but mainly used it for hair cut services, and did not use it for the more comparatively lucrative (for the salon) colouring or treatment or chemical services. All was okay except for a certain day. Wont be going back to Vaness. It is natural to ask stylist for opinion. I asked if I should layer my hair or not. He snapped at me in mandarin " na4 ni3 dao4 di3 yao4 zhen3 yang4?" Translated into English "So, which is it you want?" You should not treat a customer who does not spend a lot of money (I do not do any colouring, treatment or chemical) at the salon that way

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was disappointing. Did colour and highlight with hair cut part of the package. Only asked the staff to trim my ends, she cut 3 inch worth of hair and did layering when i asked to make it straight. Price mentioned before the day of appointment also did not reflect the eventual price. Would have appreciated the staff to be more transparent.
