Just another hardware shop I’d say. Saw reviews here and headed down to hunt for some machine screws. They had only the size of the sample I brought (it’s was from U.S.A). Was looking for a longer size but they do not have. Directed me to the store “behind”. I obliged and went “behind” the block Yong Seng Screws. That’s what I call a screw shop! Found my size and boy they sure have lots of screws!!

Shop looked like normal hardware store but they stocked the screws I couldn't get from my neighbourhood hardware stores. Auntie who served me was polite, helpful and shared valuable info. Please support businesses like these.

Sent me away and refused to sell to me just because I wanted to change the size of one screw BEFORE payment was made. They have a no exchange policy and so I wanted to make sure I got all the right items. Saw that 1 was not right and wanted to get the right size when the lady just said “dont sell to him cancel order” and walked away. I apologised so many times and tried to explain that it was urgent as I needed the screws for my project. They didn't bat an eyelid and just asked me to buy from some other shop. They hadn't even put the items I wanted onto an invoice... no payment was made... Haven’t seen this kind of rude, unprofessional service anywhere. Had every intention of purchasing more from them but now I’m never going back. Least they could have done is to say that I can get the right size in addition to the wrong one and I would have gone ahead. Please don’t purchase from them, there are many other better stores in the same area that know the value of kindness and respect.
