โ โ โ โ โ Been a fan of Kim Hock Seng from Keong Siak Road. The owner is congenial and friendly. We lost touch after his move to Geylang. It was only reading an article in the Straits Times that we "rediscovered" the shop. Personally prefer Kim Hock Seng's bak kwa to the commercial brands. Well worth a detour and visit.

โ โ โ โ โ Love the Bak Kwa always. Comparing to the commercial one, their bak kwa is really more easy to chew, not on the hard type.
Pleasantly love the charcoal taste on the bah kwa. Uncle showed me personally the stove, and he is still insisting using charcoal for making the bah kwa.

โ โ โ โ โ Chunky bbq meat made fresh! Different from the usual major brands in Singapore. If you had tried cured and bbq meat overseas, this is more to those homemade overseas taste that i always enjoy. Had been buying every week for a few months since i came across this store. Like the freshness without the oily or overly burnt taste and feeling. Taste is suitable for people with a sweet tooth as this is more on the sweet side scale. Uncle is very friendly once you are a regular here.

โ โ โ โ โ Very good tasting Bak Kwa (pork jerky). The Bak Kwa is on the sweet side. Friendly and chatty boss. He was operating in Chinatown for a very long time until the rent became too expensive. Heard there are a lot of regulars here for the Bak Kwa.
Prices are going up a few dollars for Lunar New Year.

โ โ โ โ โ Way too sweet. The stale pork taste is present as well. Looks like most of the goods are not sold and left there for quite sometime, resulting in the bad taste.
