Kimage Hair Salon (Parkway Parade)

Just been to Kimage yesterday for a haircut and was attended by a leading hairstylist named Sean . Both his approach to customer service and technical his skills were off the chart. Despite not having any appointment. Perhaps the time i went ,they were free. However, i was attended to very quickly and the hospitality was also very heartwarming. Not going to lie but despite being my first experience at Kimage, it has definitely resonated in my ' Best places to go to' list. Do come down and experience it yourself and you'll leave with your hearts contented. Do make sure to drop a appointment as u might not be as lucky as i did!

Friendly staff, hair wash was great. That said, it is my worst hair cut in so many years. Like it is so shocking how terrible the haircut is. I walked out of the salon and my friends were even more shocked than I was, like they literally went “wtf??” with their open mouths. To think that it is a salon and I paid $50 for a men’s haircut, makes me feel even more confused, I honestly had better haircuts at the barber -.- I have decided to work and hide at home for the next 2 weeks as much as possible. If you don’t take hair styling seriously, please do not work in this field. So upset right now.

Been visiting this salon for nth time already and Irene is my go-to hairstylist. I’ll just show her my hairstyle pegs and she can transform my hair the way I like. Cozy salon environment and all staff are professional and welcoming. Irene can also fix hair from a bad haircut(done by so-so haircutter from other salon) . Irene is really passionate on what she does and very creative.

Have permed and cut my hair twice at this saloon and love it! Extremely professional service, great recommendations and excellent skills. Leading stylist Irene has an amazing knack at picking out and hairstyles that suit and flatter really well, yet are very easy to maintain!

This was definitely one of the worst haircut experiences I’ve ever had. Do not bother going to this salon if your hair type is not straight! I got my haircut from Irene. I have really curly hair And wanted it to be cut in layers. The haircut itself was done in a mere 5-10 minutes and there was barely any layering done. I had requested for a curl cream and diffuser. And they insisted on blow drying it straight because they don’t really understand how to work with curly hair. After the blow dry was done there was no serum used which left my hair extra frizzy. On top of that the hair stylists kept talking about how they have many clients with curly hair - but it didn’t seem like they knew how to deal with it at all. Before they rushed to blow dry it they didn’t even ask me to check the haircut or ask me how I wanted it to be dried :( I can’t believe I paid $50 for such awful service. I don’t think their titles of leading stylist mean much and definitely didn’t deserve a higher fee.

Visited the salon at parkway for the first time for a haircut + treatment today and highly recommend Irene for her service! She was able to style my hair exactly how I wanted it and was also very gracious in giving tips on caring for my hair. She was also bubbly and friendly, giving good recommendations for hair products suitable for my hair. Definitely will be back for future visits! :)
