★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic fried rice and super value for money. They have original egg, mala or xo fried rice all for about $6+ without additional taxes. Seriously comparable with dtf and some commented that their fried cutlet is better. Didn't like their use marinated prawn. Main gripe is the attitude of the head chef towards his staff. Understand that the environment is hot and fiesty .... But he could be kinder to his staff...
Update: think a new franchise team took over. Serves a little faster though comes with some sacrifices like not piping hot pork cutlet but it's ok! The service is good and the new crab version is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall experience was somewhat not worth it.
Taste of the rice was was a 3.5~4 out of 5. The cutlet was a solid 4. The deal breaker was the long wait.
I would be ok having it with a max wait time of 30mins.
We had to wait more than an hour. The tables get easily filled by waiting customers. I guess they could work on their serving time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update review for the month of October 2021
Drop to 3 stars average. Why ? I am surprised that even there is No crowd infront of me and yet the outcome quality of the food is just average. The Rice. It was WET. The pork cutlet was good. Anyway they expand to fast . Till now from the chef worker he told me about 20 stalls in Singapore. Well hopefully majority of the food taste standard is consistent Good.
Added dine in photo
Overall Good. Price is Good. and Taste/Quality of the Rice is Good. BUT, the pork chop is slightly HARD. Location so so only. Would i go back and eat ? Very likely :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Often positioned as an affordable din Tai Fung fried rice alternative but this original outlet's location is def out of the way.. price is decent and I personally felt the pork chop and the chilli was more of a highlight than the rice since many places do the rice pretty well these days... Jus go for other outlets for a more comfortable eating experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be warned to those who are planning to visit for lunch/dinner. The wait could lead up from 30min - 1hr. Receipt proof as shown. Was informed only upon payment that i have to wait around 30mins, only to received my order nearing an hour later...?
Got the egg fried rice with spring onions topped with pan-fried pork cutlet. Simple and decent. While my colleague got the egg fried rice with shrimp.
The frangrance of the fried rice greeted my office as i open the box alerting my neighouring cubicle with some commenting 'eh smells nice sia', 'what you buy?'
The Egg fried rice is pretty similar to Dtf. Every grain is well coated, fluffly and light.
Pork cutlet portion is pretty decent. Meat was tender & flavourful. Well marinated leaving a sweet-savoury taste. It can be easily cut using plastic untensils. I did find my lips being lightly glossed by the glistening grease.
After finishing the meal. I did notice being thirstier then usual. Probably the MSG.
Worth it? Not for the long wait. A little over hype. Good food thou. Non peak period would be a wiser choice.

Came here around 1:35pm on a public holiday. Very lucky as there is no queue. Just one person ahead of us. The fried rice is similar to DTF but slightly better in terms of the taste of the pork. The pork is flavourful and tender. But the rice lack of wok hey and tasted a bit bland. However, will definitely try again on other type of fried rice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally tried this after hearing so many good reviews and some bad ones like which outlet to avoid. Happy to report that this outlet is good. The pork chop was so big it covered the whole fried rice! Actually not difficult as the rice portion is a bit small IMO. Meat was tender and nicely seasoned, rice still had good wok hei fragrance even after taking a 30 min drive home. Slight downer was their chilli which looks like it packs a punch but actually so so only. Lucky we have some good chilli at home to complement it. Looking forward to trying other fried rice flavours in the future and maybe from another outlet to see if they are consistent.
Drivers take note that parking there is expensive… I paid $3 even though I enter and exit before 6pm!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time here, and it was good. Ordered the XO Plain Fried Rice with a generous topping.of tobikko.I feel have more wok hey from dtf those. Price is alright. They only have canned drinks here, if want hot drinks the guys asked us can order from curry puff shop nearby. Came around 11plus on weekdays and to be honest quite fast. But customer who came after us need to wait a while as it was a one person shop. From ordering, serving and frying in kitchen. He did pre-empt customers about waiting time. Will come again and order Tom Yam as family member ordered and it tastes better than XO ones???? plus not those very spicy type so I like ??
