Nice fried rice, but not worth the wait! Waited for 1hr40mins for two take away. Sg ppl really likes to queue =_=||| Worth 4stars but minus one due to long waiting time. Will not visit again unless there's no crowd

Ordered their signature pork cutlet fried rice, it was fantastic! No fanfare, simple yet delicious. Pork cutlet was cooked to a perfect crispy charred edges with beautiful brown colour. The fried rice was not oily and tasted just right, not overly salty, it was just perfect and they have always been consistent in their quality. Do note that there will be long queues during the lunch and dinner hours.

Tomyum fried rice is awesome but they need to improve on their customer service. We were number 257 but they gave the food to all the customers behind us until 261 just because they ordered egg fried rice.

Have change their Presentation compare to previous photo. This is the latest 09062022. With 4 ways tase of a fried rice. Not really fantastic but is the pork with certain herbs on the pork chop that makes a difference. As indicated, must try.

Bought today and pretty fast. The pork cutlet is tender. If you do not want to wait for too long (typically 1 hour or more) during dinner time, please go before 5pm. Pork Cutlet Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice cost $6.50 each and Shrimp Fried Rice with Tobiko cost $7.50.

Overall the fried rice still ok as I ordered their XO shrimp fried rice. However I not sure how come there is a tiny rock inside the fried rice, the only reason I can think of is they drop their food on the floor (I mean hawker floor) and without washing it and just cook it to save time. XO fried rice a bit dry not smooth and moist. However my wife like their pork chop fried rice and I also tasted some from her. Which is why still have 2 Stars instead of 1. I do hope they could improve in hygiene side even though I know hawker centre normally don’t care on this part…

Update for June 2021 Added New Photo Well i went around 5pm and there was already some queue. Luckily i waited less than 35 minutes This time the Pork Cutlet was NOT properly evenly. I know rushing due to many customer, but the elder uncle i guess he might be tired after having cutting for so many pieces of pork meat... :-( Update March 2021.... Added 1 new Photo :-) This time round i went to the stall at around 830pm and it was NOT so many customer. And hence the waiting time is much shorter....So unless you can eat at little late timing, probably order after 8pm the best. Avoid peak dinner hours long queue... 4 stars ! It is because waiting times too long... Well the wok hei taste and smell really nice.... The pork is good taste and big portion too. Fried Rice is also very delicious. Their Chili is very good ! Well will i go back again ? If i pass by and their waiting time is less than 30 minutes then i might consider queuing up again....Overall is good taste and same goes to their main outlet at beach road....

Pardon me for my review on this page as there is no page up yet for the newly opened outlet at Blk 134 Lorong Ah Soo as at 15th June 2022. Decided to try King of Fried Rice for the first time today. Disappointment 1 : There is no chicken option. So I had to order Shrimp Fried Rice at $6.90 a portion. Disappointment 2 : While waiting at the stall to collect order I was not able to smell any fragrant aroma of food being cooked.( granted I had my mask on) Disappointment 3 : After collection of the order, I took off my mask at the table and brought my nose within cm of the fried rice.I was not able to smell any aroma of fried rice ( no I am not Covid-19 positive). It was a very very ordinary plate of fried rice to say the least. To call it King of Fried Rice is a misnomer. For sure I will not recommend nor will I visit any King of Fried Rice outlet.
