Dad patronised the yong tau foo store in the air-conditioned kopitiam. Over charged additional piece of fishcake and when my dad went back to clarify the china male staff accused that my dad has alr eaten the piece of ytf. -. - like cmon, do we need to cheat that 60 cent ytf?? Do remember to check you are charged correctly before leaving the store. Been a long time since I dine in with my parents at the air conditioned Tampines Mart Kopitiam due to the regulations. Decided to dine in after so long after dine in for 5 pax was allowed but it was an unpleasant experience. We chose a table not knowing that table was not allowed for 3 pax. While I was dining, one of the cleaning auntie violently dragged the chair beside me away which startled me and told us that tables for more than 2 pax have to move to the area behind (there were other tables with more than 2 pax around us but we were only her target). I understand that we may be in the wrong, but what could have been done was to tell us nicely, we will apologise and move to an area that allow for more than 2 pax. That rude behaviour from the staff totally spoiled our appetite. Never ever step in there to dine in or dabao from this outlet anymore.

Will Give 3 stars for now as this kopidiam have a noodle stall selling spinach wanton noodles.

the soft boiled egg is pre - prepared hence not hot when you cracked. cold eggs taste really awful. The lady serving is not friendly, impatient n take wrong orders coupon of time.

Dried Ban Mian for dinner, no brainer need not think too much selection. Strong flavoured with sweetnesses of the anchovies and vegetables. Nice! $4.80 for a bowl but $4.32 when using the Kopitiam card. My favourite all time dessert... Bubur Chacha...

For the sheer amount of times this place has fed me over the years, I will give it 4 stars for sustaining my food and drink needs. They have a decent, home-style breakfast menu at the drinks stall, which includes sandwiches, french toast, dim sum, baos, and a kopi that has a unique fragrance compared to others. Nice to have it in the air-conditioned food court in this hot weather. Shout-out to the soup stall that does good healthy, herbal soup with pumpkin or white rice. Yummy stuff.

With the new implementation from MOH for diners to return our own tray & crockery by ourselves after each meal, cleaners at this food court have been taking this advantage of this new requirement to laze & skive during their working hours. Group of 2 or even more cleaners can always been seen gathering near the return tray area chatting away, some even show attitude when diners & consumer approach them for help to clean off dirty tables to free them up for usage. Tables & chairs are always dirty when we arrive here for meals, cleaners trolley are always in the way either in the middle of passage way or in front of stalls vendor. Would really appreciate if the management will look into the cleanliness & hygiene to the eating place, it is after all the only convenient eating place for the whole neighborhood. The reason I'm giving 3* even with such poor system is totally because of the varieties of food selection, don't misunderstand the meaning behind the score.

1 star not for the food, but for the management of KOPITIAM and NTUC! Kopitiam Food Court. Good: some decently good stalls and the soup, Korean food and laksa all taste good. Bad: time check 7.30pm on a Sunday evening and the whole drink counter only has 1 elderly aunty (in her 70s) mending/preparing drinks, cashiering, preparing french toast and also helping the dim sum stall. There's staff in pink around and not a single soul helped her. The queue is ridiculous and KOPITIAM/NTUC are so over stretching this elderly aunty. This definitely not the 1st time as I'm a frequent patron here. Please sent someone review on the situation and deploy manpower accordingly. Go check on your CCTV. Date: 05/06/2022 Sunday evening

This review is for the economical rice. What i chose was not cheap and i can accept this. What i found unacceptable was paying but not getting the quality. The 2 veg were decent but the chicken drumstick! $3 for the drumstick but it was so tough i had to work the fork and spoon in a sawing motion to get the meat off the bone. It was also bland, needed more salt and flavour.
