β β β β β worse japanese dining experience in Singapore. ordered fat tuna belly sushi. it is warm when eat. the sushi.was not packed with ice pack but together with other hot food. the tuna is also not melt in your mouth kind and quite tough. the fact that i found a big bone in the tuna does not help. worse than sushi get from supermarket. overpriced for such quality

β β β β β Used to come here often but lately the quality has been getting worse. Lot of menu items not available and the taste isnt as fresh.
To cap it off, I ate here on 27/03/2022 and ordered the special seasonal don they had. Something must have been off (I suspect the sea urchin) and I suffered from bad food poisoning the rest of the week. Sent them an email to address the issue and they never got back to me.
Can't honestly state I recommend this place.

β β β β β Super disappointed with SENS Dining and I had a poor first time dining experience.
We ordered a bottle of sake.
Guy waiter then went on to upsell us a slice of $20 winter melon! We do not want this expensive melon.
Waiter still went ahead and ordered a kinki fish which is $68 but never inform us on the pricing first. The fish has not much meat. It is not fresh as seen in the photo.
We also order a Umi , salmon sashimi , and NEVER order a full plate sashimi platter. Waiter did not say transparent pricing and went ahead to order a $400 sashimi platter which includes swordfish! We were so shocked and have our rights as customer to reject it.
To SENS Dining
This is not professional of your staff and it will be my last dining at SENS!

β β β β β Very good ambience and friendly service. Food was normal standard, nothing outstanding, and slightly pricey. However, Kura Omakase Beto (half price during lunch) looked very attractive on the menu and worth a try for new experience.

β β β β β Stopped off here for on a weeknight for a quick meal. We did notice a sign that said filming in progress but we werenβt too bothered as we thought it would be a minor distraction. The venue is spacious and it was quite crowded on the ground floor but there were empty tables. So we were ushered upstairs, which we though was to avoid the filming. As we sat down the diners on tables around us all seemed to have laptops and again there was a whole row of empty tables, which we could have been sat at. Anyway we ordered the food arrived quickly, the beers too, which was much appreciated. We ordered an appetiser of tako wasabi which was crunchy and had a good kick. The five kind sashimi was good thick cuts and fresh. The cutlet was ok, the meat not as tender and juicy as I would have liked but the outside was suitably crispy. Half way through our meal, the table next to us then started a live promo broadcast which was quite loud and animated as lots of dishes were brought in for review. Now we donβt mind the fact that there was a shoot, but what really didnβt make sense for SENs dining was, why were we placed directly next to a shoot when there were empty tables literally all around. The management was kind enough to offer us complimentary drinks to apologise, after we complained. All in all itβs a good place to enjoy nice Japanese cuisine, if thereβs no shoots taking place. But if it does get too loud thereβs a bar space out the back where you can escape.

β β β β β SENS always gives me a very homely feeling, staff treats you very warmly. My go to Japanese restaurant with my family for any occasion! The sashimi is very fresh, I will definitely order them every time I visit. A very cosy and affordable good quality Japanese restaurant.

β β β β β Great experience, good ambience, good culinary and fair price. Would have given 4 stars if they have quoted me on the price if the "seasonal" fish.
The chawanmushi is exceptional and chef also try their best to accommodate my request for more char on the lamb.
