★ ★ ★ ★ ★ its cozy... its unique... and its one of a kind . fantastic place for a small party or just a couple to spend some nice romantic moments away from the busy street below. Orlll just to watch from the best view above Baghdad street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love their Kunefe even if I never tried Turkish dish before visiting this restaurant. The place is cozy, colorful and relaxing. Good dining experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I came across this Cafe while walking around Arab St and decided to visit the Cafe. However we did not realise that the Cafe was closed since Mar 2018 (as mentioned on their FaceBook page). This review is directed to the Turkish restaurant below this Cafe because my friend and I experienced a really sketchy and dubious encounter with the Turkish restaurant. We were first told that the Cafe was closed and the Turkish waiter claimed that the Cafe is the same as their Turkish restaurant. My friend was kind enough to follow him into the restaurant and wait to see the menu. The menu was a Turkish menu from the restaurant instead of the La Marelle Boutique-Cafe menu and I immediately told my friend that we should leave. However the guy claimed that they are the same and insist that we should stay and order their food. The whole experience was really horrible and bad and I would like for anyone reading this review to make sure that the Cafe is open and operating, and not to be ‘scammed’. To put it bluntly, it felt like the Turkish restaurant was taking advantage of tourists or locals who did not know that the Cafe is closed for renovation and are tricking them into buying their food by claiming that the Turkish restaurant is the same as the Cafe. Tourists and locals, please be careful and beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located upstairs. Circulation was not very good and hence was very warm. Seating was quite tight, not ideal for groups >4. Food was average and took awhile to come even though there weren't many customers in the place. Beef was overdone, crumbly and not juicy unfortunately. Laksa pasta had too much cream. Not really worth the money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't usually write reviews, but this place is bad. No A/C, really hot and stuffy. Waited for 45 mins for my ice coffee because they didn't have ice (seriously?). Did not even tell me until I was about to pay and go. Menu has no pricing (so beware!). 6 drinks and 1 cake cost $54 (that's $8 per item). Cake was not good. Saw other patrons not finishing their cakes too.
