來碗麵 - 潮州魚圆麵 Lai Wan Mian Teochew Fishball Noodle - 51 Old Airport Rd

Lai Wan Mian signboard caught my eye and since I love to eat Teochew fishball noodles, I decided to give it a try. Surprisingly the noodles are Al dente and flavourful. The ingredients especially the fishballs were fresh and good. Lastly, the young man who served me was friendly. Definitely made my day with a nice bowl of bak chor mee with so much ingredients.

Average for tasty wise. I ordered the signature, more ingredients but somehow the taste don't quite go together. The server is friendly and courteous, may be my expectation is too high after reading the 5-star reviews. Try it yourself and feedback.

Was at Old Airport road food centre this afternoon for lunch and chanced upon this relatively new stall that is selling Teochew fishball noodle. this stall is located at the second row. Apart from their fishball noodle, there is also a signature noodle which I ordered as well a few other items. Price for the signature noodle starts from SGD$5.50 onwards. There wasn't any queue when I was there, managed to ordered immediately. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of the noodle was springy. Sauce was well balanced, not too overly sour. Noodle was a little dry, could do with more sauce. The signature noodle came with various ingredient like minced meat, sliced fishcake, and various kind of meatball. Wouldnt mind eating again if i feel like eating fishball when i am at old airport road food centre.
