β β β β β Soup was nice and tasty! Apple&pear soup was sweet and nice! The cola chicken wing doesn't have any cola taste tho, but it is still nice - taste more like honey chicken ?

β β β β β Our Saturday dinner at Lao Huo Tang at Jurong Point
We pass by the shop every now and then but have never tried the food. Crave for soup so we decided to dine there.
Order 4 dishes....
Roasted spring chicken was alright, skin was crispy and meat was not too dry. Tomato egg was great, with a good balance if sweetness and sour taste. Spring onion fish was acceptable and the coconut chicken soup we're also good.
However...
The best was the pumpkin rice and the longan red date drink. These 2 items was fantastic, must try.

β β β β β Ordered the collagen peach gum soup today. Was expecting some peach gum but I was wrong,no where in sight. Spoke to the manager,he claimed that peach gum has melted. Then should at least inform customer at point of order that the peach gum may be melted when served. Think is not honest to call collagen soup with peach gum when we don't even see one. Will not patronize again

β β β β β The soup is boiled enough and the taste delicious. My only comment for the soup is quite oily sometimes. Currently there is 1 for 1 soup promotion, it's a good time to give it a try for those who never try before.
Besides I did try 2 dim sum items also. It's not bad as well.

β β β β β Canβt find any fault with the quality and taste of the food here, itβs all wonderfully done.
There is also a 1 x free refill on all soups, which pretty much fills 60-70% of the bowl. Also, itβs a good idea to takeaway the refill portion of the soup if you canβt finish both bowls in one setting ?
However, the service level and price is a little off imo. (Or maybe we just werenβt used to the GST and service charge after 4 months at home - $116 for 4 pax, you be the judge)

β β β β β Healthy and tasty food. Nice and clean environment. Free top up of the soup once. Flavourful! Tried different dishes and so far very tasty.

β β β β β Service could be better. Food taste average. Used to have dimsum menu but sadly they removed it. You get a refill of the soup though( once ), which isn't allowed at other branch.

β β β β β Delicious and nurturing Chinese home dishes. Preferred the lotus root soup with more herbal taste than the chicken herbal soup which is too sweet. The homemade tofu is very good. Just soup and tofu with rice for 2 is very filling. Ordered 1 soup and 1 dish and get another soup free. Great bargain for a satisfying meal! ??
