The first and only Le Labo shop in Singapore as of now. Located in Ngee Ann City (aka Takashimaya). Very vintage and industrial design, filled with smells of various perfume. The shop sells products ranging from perfumes to candles and body care products. This boutique will also have perfume re-filling service in the near future, only for 50/100ml bottles with same scent.

The very first branch of Le Labo in Singapore. Very cool concept for a perfumery shop. Industrial style but sleek and clean. Super friendly and very knowledgeable store assistant. Price range is above normal but they have an array of perfumes that are quite niche and unique. Located inside Ngee Ann building towards the SMRT underpass across from Steve Madden shop.

TLDR; not accommodating, not attended, felt like having to know what to purchase upon arrival. Prior visits were very satisfactory and staff were willing to share information and time to serve every client (purchasing/non-purchasing) who walked in. Those qualities slowly diminished over time and it had become a poorly managed space. My recently visit has led me to experience a 1 staff to 3 customers ratio in the store. Surely, the staff looked stretched to serve to his best and no employee deserved to be placed in a front-line, service oriented position. Please look into improve your customer service and crowd management. Coming from my experience at NAC outlet, will drop another review when I patronised MBS’s.

I was actually quite unwilling to visit this store because of the bad reviews, but i was pleasantly surprised when I did! I visited the store on 11 may during the afternoon, and there was only 1 other customer besides me. There was only 1 staff working (did not manage to get their name), who was on their laptop but immediately assisted me when I had questions. I ended up buying a perfume, and despite the expensive cost I really recommend the perfumes as they are of amazing quality!

Not sure how others managed to buy their stuff without trying the scent. I understand it's covid19 and masks are to be kept on all times. However it makes it tricky to buy perfumed items. Didn't know they were so strict with the "no touching" policy as well. I thought it was "no testing" but nope, even if you touch the product without opening the cap, it's considered "touching". I took a tube of hand cream but didn't open the cap. However the sales girl asked if I wanted to buy the hand cream which I did but felt miffed that I wasn't able to check out the ingredients properly with such restrictions. I'm unsure of how the sales people arrange the items on shelves but I hope they aren't touching the items with their bare hands either. If not for nordstrom's ridiculous shipping, I would have bought everything online. Anyway the only plus point is that the price is reasonable i.e. same as online. The hand cream absorbs well although I haven't tried the hand soap. However I don't really like the hinoki scent and will be moving on to other brands instead.

I did not expect the good service in the shop, given the multiple subpar reviews present on customer service. The salesman, Jay, who served me (didnt get his name), has great service attitude! He is passionate about fragrances and also provided me with a paper filled with perfume that i could place in my wardrobe. The fragrance is long lasting. I had samples placed on my skin during evening and still smelled great the next morning even after showering. Was given samples of the perfume to smell. The Salesman even sprayed more on the paper, so i could dab it on my skin to see how things go. 4 stars as it is much pricier than i expected ($277 for 50ml).

The perfumes are great, but the staffs are not. I came there knowing what I wanted to buy, which was a rose 31 perfume. But, I also wanted to try another scents.. but the staff was SO unfriendly it made me uncomfortable to even ask to try other scents. For a premium perfume store, please improve your customer service.

Surprised that the staff's knowledge for a niche brand fragrance is poor, that is unacceptable. We visited the outlet yesterday, expecting the staff would know their products well. We're asking the notes of a fragrance, the staff was unable to share further about the ingredients. We could understand the staff may be new, if he put some efforts to find out more on customer's enquiry, also for his own knowledge, why not do so... This should be improved...
