★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s like those traditional carrot cake places. This stall uses less sweet dark soya, so it’s more savoury and you won’t feel so guilty. The chye por is of a good amount and complements the savoury taste. Hungry already? You have to go in the morning only.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I patronise this carrot stall frequently whenever I am in the Lorong 8 Toa Payoh neighbourhood.
I simply like the way the carrot cake is fried - black sauce is not too sweet, the carrot is soft and not oily too.
The Uncle has been in this trade since his younger days. He is still selling @ $2.50 and $3.00 respectively per plate.
