★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to try the Korean fried chicken and saw this in the same coffee shop and decided to give it a try. Ordered the signature noodles. Looks good and I would say the main ingredients the hergiao and the Fishball were really good. The plump and juicy hergiao and the smooth and soft Fishball were the star of the dish. Seasoning was a little lacking and the noodles dried up very quickly. Was decent but had to keep adding soup to the noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first few mouthfuls got me thinking, perhaps they only had their looks going for them. But then I continued on and what I learnt on this trip (of Mushroom and Minced Meat noodle [Dry, Bee Hoon, without vinegar as I always like it]), is that these people, young as they may be, know their stuff.
Maybe they got the recipe from their elders, maybe they just perfected an online, readily accessible one. Whatever the case might be, I'm sold!
I won't hesitate to cycle all the way from Yishun to visit them and try out the other dishes.
What did I like about it?
The portion was neither overwhelming nor below adult serving. Trust me, I eat A LOT and I found this decent.
It was packed with flavours you'd expect of this dish. Nothing overpowering from any particular ingredient but a subtle blend of spice (heat) and sweetness. A tinge of bitterness won't hurt but like I said earlier, am not a fan of vinegar. That said, it just might very well be your kind of poison.
Service is as good as one can expect from a coffeeshop. Self-service; but not too long a queue. Yet long enough to make you wonder what the big deal is. I, for one, know what the big deal is - good food, reasonably priced.
Long story short (in other words, if time is of the essence for you, with the need to constantly be on the move and just be fed bite-sized info so that you can save the world).... Just go and try. You won't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be warned the chilli is fiery spicy ? and I guess what makes this more special.
Serving size for $5 is about $3.50 bowl at the nearby hawker center. The highlight is the dumpling which is delicious. Unfortunately, only 1 piece in the $5 signature bowl.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I finally get to eat this couple Bak chor mee. Not bad, nice noodle texture ,
Chilli was quite good . Fish ball no big deal . I ordered the $7 signature and had lots of mince meat and meat with some braise slice mushroom with 2pcs of kiao but not sure if they made themselves because it taste like Song Kee''s fish ball version.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ LINA Fishball noodle is located within Johnson Eatery in Toa Payoh Lor 1 Block 125 facing the main road.
Ordered the large signature noodles ($7), and its chock full of ingredients. Noodles were cooked al dente, with a good bite/chew to it. The noodles are best enjoyed slathered/coated in their chilli, which packs some heat. The "her giao" or fish dumplings have excellent texture to it, and was cooked just right. The meat slices and minced meat are also done just right, and are not hard to chew. The bits of pork lard mixed in with the noodles provide a nice flavour and crunch to it, and the overall dish is a pleasure to eat, and is a wonderful and heart meal.
Highly recommend to grab a bowl of "her giao" soup to go along with this, as it helps to wash it all down. Soup was nicely flavoured and is not overtly salty.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves dining in there, and it was worth the wait.
Even when we had the same food delivered (as opposed to eating there), the noodles have the same consistency, and we're not soggy or flat tasting.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the signature #1 and #2 added $1.20 for two fishballs. Total $10.20. It's one of the more pricey fishball noodles around. Noodles are cooked well and the sauces done nicely. Worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $7 fishball noodle......
Pricey for an ordinary bowl of fishball noodle in a heartland coffeeshop. These balls were limp and too soft in texture for my liking. Same goes for their fish dumplings and I enjoy ones that held stronger seasoned meat filling. Chilli is spicy and has good kick to it.
Overall, I wasn't wowed over. Slightly above average at best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the very best fish ball noodles that I have ever tasted. The noodles were cooked to perfection with a slight springy texture (I love it). Next, the chilli was simply heavenly, though some might find it marginally sweeter than having that spicy kick. Now, the fish dumplings were juicy giant and super value for money. This dumpling is the best that I have ever tried. The fish paste wrapped around the meat was thick and unlike those found in the supermarket. The overall experience had been astounding!!! Best Best Best!
