Dr Tan is a very caring and meticulous doctor. I had my thyroid surgery done 2 years ago and I am very thankful to him . but the cost is in the high side .

More interested in making money by forcing surgery on patients than anything. As a surgeon, of course that is what he does. However, he does not have a listening ear to hear what patients have to say about their condition. Can you trust a doctor like this to operate on you?

Dr Tan was very patient and thorough in explaining his diagnosis and the surgical protocol to me, giving me assurance that I am in good hands. His clinic staff was both courteous and professional. The hospital admin office and nurses were also very efficient and helpful.

The first time I went to see Dr Luke Tan was three years ago and I was impressed by his professional and skillful diagnostic way when conducting my nasal endoscopy. I experienced a very minimal discomfort as compared to stereotyped feeling of endoscopy that told by others. This definitely had overcome my fear to have subsequent ENT checkup and treatment. Coming to year of 2020, everything seems unusual around the world. This includes my personal life. I gave birth to my first child in January at the age of 41. Joyous and different kind of challenges filled in my daily life with no doubt. However, what stressing me the most is when I got to know in August 2020 that one of my thyroid nodules had grown bigger and the cell had changed in nature compared to previous years. Based on Dr Luke Tan’s advice, the best treatment would be undergoing a thyroid nodule removal operation as there is a 5% chance of having a cancerous nodule in future if no action is taken. Dr Luke Tan patiently went through my diagnosis report and shared with me and my husband what risks and scenario will have when carrying out an operation. My operation was successfully done in September 2020. Unexpectedly, one additional cancerous nodule that grew deeply in my left thyroid gland was detected by Dr. Luke Tan during the operation and it got removed as well. My husband and myself feel fortunate that this was detected early and I was in good hands throughout my treatment. If you have any ENT issue, I strongly recommend Dr. Luke Tan to you, simply because he is the expert in this field.

Dr Luke Tan first performed a hemithyroidectomy on my left thyroid gland in 2014. And in October 2020, he carried out the right side. On both occasions, I find him a very professional and detailed surgeon. He is not a doctor who imposes his view on his patient. Instead he tries to help me understand the rationale of carrying out the surgery. His surgical skills are superb, evidenced by my speedy recovery and a minimum visible surgical scarring. I'm very thankful to Dr Luke and his team of capable and friendly staff.

I had taken my helper to Dr. Luke Tan last week. She had fungal infection in her ear. The doctor didn’t do anything but just cleaning that. Since it was paining, we had to visit him once again to clean properly. The whole procedure is less than 5 minute and for his he charged 900$ altogether. He is extremely money minded. I wouldn’t recommend to visit him, if you don’t have insurance coverage.
