This eatery serves a good variety of local delights. Food and drinks were not particularly impressive but were of decent quality and quantity. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the self-ordering kiosks were easy to use and included comprehensive choices. Food collection was also self-service.

I am a frequent customer at Mamum KKH. I buy drinks from mamum every morning and afternoon. For the past 2 months, the service at Mamum has been horrible. When I come to order, since I come by everyday, an elder male server around 60s will shout my order. He even threw receipt at me many times after giving my order. He will never greet, say thank you or anything. He only knows how to sigh, shout and roll his eyes when he hand me my drink. He will sigh loudly when I come. The other china male server in 40s is also rude. He will raise his eyebrows when im at the counter. Instead of asking or greeting, nothing, he rather say what or raise his eyebrows. This is very disappointing and unacceptable behaviour. The other phillipino male staff in his 30s is good as he greets and ask for orders kindly. The rest of the staff are acceptable as well. I hope that Mamum's management will educate the 2 staff mentioned as it will affect my every morning and afternoon choices to either purchase from Mamum or not when they are at the counter. Raising voice to customers who comes to order is not acceptable. We are not here to entertain your staff's attitude. My number is stated above. We are not here to tolerate their behaviour Please remember that you are located in KKH, not a void deck coffeeshop! If any of your staff has attitude problem, dont place at the front counter, place them at the back kitchen instead to shout and be sulking like a kid all they want!

Food is pretty lack luster..ordered a beef noodle soup which just had a few slices of beef and noodles. It could use more greens

We placed our orders for dine in and was waiting at the seated area. We had a takeaway cup from another outlet which we were not drinking from and had carried in with us and it was placed on the table. One staff came and shouted at us from a distance telling us outside food is not allowed. I can understand the sentiment but I was not consuming the outside food and I was in fact waiting for my order. More shouting ensued from the food preparation staff behind the counter. We also noticed another person carrying takeaway cups from another outlet while she was waiting for her order seated at a table. She was also told outside food is not allowed. As customers we can understand the business rationale, but the execution or delivery of the message can be conveyed better. A lot of hospital staff come and order for their colleagues and they carry in takeaway packages from different outlets. The Ma Mum staff can afford to be less rude and grumpy and it would create a better outlet experience. That too, this is a hospital outlet whereby there are many patients and caregivers - more patience from the outlet staff would be much appreciated.

Food is very average but prob the best you could get at KK

Simple foods and surprisingly comprehensive self service kiosk option, even able to cater to all Kopi / Teh varies, options for less butter, etc. Calorie information for each food are indicated. Good initiative, role model for a modern 'hawker'

Giving it 3 stars because food has been great but not so much on the customer service. Encountered an elderly male who goes by the name of ‘Cheong’ who was serving me drinks this morning. Ordered iced plum lime juice and I could clearly hear him mumbling “Who orders plum lime in the morning?!” (in mandarin), in a rude and unpleasant manner. He was also sighing repeatedly before shoving the receipt back onto the counter. Clearly not the kind of service and attitude one is supposed to have, in a f&b service industry.

The Thai Beef noodles caught my eye and ended up buying their beef brisket noodles ($$7.50). The noodles were a little undercook with the inside still a little hard. I let it soak a little and it softened. I wish the soup broth has a little stronger beef stock taste. Overall the noodles is ok if not too fuss about a quick simple meal. This is a halal cafe.
