★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came down all the way from punggol just to try this after seeing it on FB. First of all, they probably didn't know who their target market is. Their target market are those who love porridge and satay. While eating, they would be comparing the prices of $7 against traditional satay stalls and porridge stalls. Then, they probably didn't know who their competitors are. If you wanna charge $7, u jolly well make sure the mutton portion is generous. I finished the mutton halfway through my small bowl of bland porridge. I could have bought 8 sticks of mutton satay to eat with home cooked porridge. I could also have bought fish porridge that tastes more depth. Third, they are situated beside a stall that sells generous lor mee with lots and lots of ingredient for just $3.50. Verdict: not worth the trip. Deciding between 2 or 3 stars. Gave it 3.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered grabfood for this and the congee is sooooo good! i gave four star because we ordered ala carte satay too and that is not good. The peanut sauce is almost peanut butter-ish and light brown. Will come back for the congee tho!

It was served warm and pleasant with thick and dense rice grains. Every spoonful was full of delicious ingredients like chicken and meatballs along with other peripherals of spring onion and crispy shallots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love love love their congee! This is the best satay porridge place to go for chicken satay and satay porridge in the east of singapore! All dishes that we have tried as a family have been delicious especially the chicken satay porridge. More importantly, their porridge is good on its own. The beef satay meat is tender and ketupat is perfectly cooked. The satay gravy is very flavourful and so were the sambal quail eggs! We were very surprised. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to have good satay or good porridge in the East of Singapore. No pork and no lard!
