★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good old sch kinda Lor mee! You get to add your own chili sauce, garlic and vinegar! Aunty at store is funny at times! Love the fried old sch kinda prawn together with the gravy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional lor mee version in Singapore is becoming more diversified and many variants are appearing. This stall in a coffeeshop served the usual ‘lor’ (starchy gravy) with a fried battered prawn, ngoh hiang, flat pieces of lor bah & an lor egg. I added some chilli padi, black vinegar and minced garlic to it. Delicious though not the very traditional lor mee. Overall it was good ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chance upon this stall inside the coffeeshop at block 509, they were previously located at the hawker centre but have shifted to the coffeeshop just behind. Used to patronized them many years back only to find out that they were no longer at the hawker centre.
Rediscovered their stall by accident and decided to have a bowl of lor mee since I didn’t have it for many years. Their lor mee starts from SGD$3.50 onwards. It comes with the standard ingredient like braised egg, fried fish and nor hiang. Apart from that, there is also fried battered prawn when you ordered the large portion.
Lor mee still tasted great like In the past. Gravy was flavorful and has a nice consistency. The condiment like minced garlic and vinegar is self-service.
