★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my 2nd experience. First time was dine in and it was ok but I didn't have the 麻辣香锅 that time.
This round was ordering through Grab. Ordered the 麻辣香锅 and fried mantou.
麻辣香锅:
▪︎The beef and pork was overcooked hence hard
▪︎The beancurd sheets were too hard as well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food standard is always different when I order. Sometimes it's very delicious, sometimes it's super bland like the chef completely forgot to add seasoning. I'v only dined in once before and that was delicious. Their Mala toss is very spicy when it's only mild spicy so beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dirty plates are placed under customer feet all the time. The dirty or clean plates are stored on the floor. Shame on the lazy uncareful cashier. Cashier hair hang right above the rice cooker, which is open all the time to receivinashier girl get cash then handle food never clean hands. Dirty hands germs from cash to food. Bad attitude. No manners. Long face. Service is zero star.
Very bad experience, staff girl eye glasses was very rude. Food took so long to arrive and taste was not on par with how long I had to wait, suggest people to just eat at a random mala stall at kopitiam. Don't know if it was like this for every customer but highly would not recommend eating here, will not return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a set meal with Grilled fish, 口水鸡 and 辣子鸡。 Mild spicy is too mild so don't hesitate to go for extra spice which is something I really like if not eating with my wife. There are Sichuan peppercorns seen so thats the 香！what's really addictive is their 辣子鸡 so thats something I'd head back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The menu of the grill fish said they provide fish fillet, but actually it’s not, just half fish with bones……….
Other food is just average, the only one that surprised me is the mala mixed mushroom snack, can’t stop eating that. Good for this who love fungus and mala taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is alright but the mala dishes are not as amazing as I expected (well since you put Mala in your restaurant's name...). The hidden gem is actually the chicken stew with pig's intestine. What a delicious, comforting broth it has. Grilled fish in mala flavour was alright, but nothing special. Decent flavour, but I rather go elsewhere for more "authentic" mala dishes.
