★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little shop is at the basement of Shaw centre at the food hall area just past isetan supermarket checkout. It's right next to Johan and shares the same checkout so it's probably run by the same people. Sweet potatoes are the star of the show at Matsuzo and the cakes are not too sweet, perfect for afternoon tea!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting texture. If you like sweet potatoes, this is for you. The texture is like a cross between cake and the mushy texture of boiled potatoes. The outside is coated with a sweet glaze. Overall it is not overly sweet.
