★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here for breakfast at 930am, there was no crowd. Approached the staff to ask for the options for savoury croissants and she mentioned that savoury croissants only start at 945am. So we opt for the normal croissants and for the croissants to be toasted. The croissants were cold after being toasted and tasted stale. Not sure if they were not baked on the day (freshly) or not baked properly. Pretty disappointed with this standard from Maison Kayser. Flat white was too milky as well. Will not visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passby this cafe when I was looking for a cafe for hot coffee. Saw this was the only cafe that still had some seats available as usually is hard to get seat for one person in Orchard Rd. Just had a plain croissant and hot cappuccino and they were taste so so. Not very comfortable sitting in the cafe as the cashier/lady very noisy while cleaning and tidying the plates, cups and cutlery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Iced lemon tea tastes like black tea and lemon slice on top, no lemon juice at all. Matcha latte was so bland like just milk no green tea. my sister can bake Madeline better than Kayser….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food & coffee are average but props to the female staff who has the patience of a saint. Imagine having to cater to a pair of elderly sisters who ask incessant questions & tourists from a South Asian country who behave like they are kings & queens and this would have cause anyone to snap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the outlet @ Crane Rd, Joo Chiat. Staff packed the lemon tart into a small box and inside the plastic bag with my baguette. The box tilted to a side and the nicely piped meringue on the lemon tart inside the box got ruined, right at the cash counter, before I picked up the bag. I took out the tart box from the bag and showed the gal at the counter… she looked at me like “Yeah so??”
The tart taste great but the service is poor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a horrible sandwich thinking that it shouldn’t go wrong with avocado and chicken.
The bread is so hard, chicken is tasteless, the vegetables like not fresh. Totally a disappointment.
I grab it for a quick lunch but it was just too bad that I had to throw it away. I will never get anything from this bakery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fist visited on 21 May. Ave pastry coffee with soy milk was good though. Poor guy he was the only person who running the shop alone I could tell he was busy as hell. Thankful he still very polite and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet place for a catch up. Apple Tatin is light and not too sweet. Royal Chocolate dark chocolate is not too bitter with a base that is crisp and crunchy.
