The male boss helped me corrected a gown i bought from one of the shops in far east plaza. Be ware of shop that offers free alterations when u buy gown fr them. At least the shop i encountered, she did a horrible job of alteration; totally ruined my gown :(((( Good thing i brought this gown to meng yee for problem fixing. The male boss seemed pretty knowledgeable about the materials of the gown n how to correct the wrongs that were done to this gown by the gown shop lady. Though his price didn't seem cheap , but i was willing to pay on condition that he fixed all the problems for this gown. After he started working on it he realised it was a pretty major 'surgery'. I am thankful to him for patiently fixed almost all the problems except for less obvious issues n in keeping to our agreement that with that price he quoted he would fix all the problems. I was happy with the end result of this gown. Just one side note, his estimation of time to finish the work was inaccurate. He took another additional day to finish, but didn't tell me that earlier.

Got the alteration wrong the first time round and the owner warned me that because I had “agreed” to the length in my first visit I might have to pay additional cost for them having to rework on the alteration (which is pretty unfair because I thought the seamstress understood the length I had wanted but seems I was wrong). Overall, the aunties there seem nice and confident but you never know if they actually understand anything you say and the chances for mistakes are really high.

Amazing!! They're able to alter my padded 800N puncture resistant pants! I was chased away from lots of tailors before approaching them, and they took the job without much hesitation! Very good and professional service! And super affordable too!

I went there with my favourite shorts and asked them to replicate . When I called up , the owner said he has white fabric and hence no need to buy . When I was there he said he only has one particular type and he asked me to go buy . Hence , I made a futile trip . Immediately, I rushed down to Chinatown to buy the fabric and came back to the shop after that and showed the owner what I bought which included the lining for the shorts . The shorts took 3 weeks to make . One day before the collection date , I called up and to realise they totally forgot about my shorts . The owner said that I did not pass him the lining . I was very upset and thought that he misplaced it cos I went through the fabric I bought with him that day . Finally he found it but I could only collect the shorts 3 days later . I went to the shop 3 days later and to my disappointment, my new shorts were slightly smaller . Also , they tore my favourite shorts which I asked them to replicate . He didn’t admit his fault until I insisted that my shorts were in perfect condition when I passed them to him . As a result , he gave me $20 discount (I paid more than $100 for that pair of shorts ) . Also he used a lousy zip and I had a hard time zipping . Overall , it was a terrible experience.

While the aunty and uncle there were nice, they were too pricey. First quote was $28, when I expressed my concern about the price, it became $18. I went to another unit in the end and got my alteration done for less than 1/10th the original price.

My wife bought two new pants and sent to them immediately for alteration services. The pants were brand new and without any issues when the pants were sent to them as she had to try at their place before handing the pants to them. When collecting 3 days later, the side of one of the pants was torn. Showed this to them and they refused to take responsibility for this damage and instead charged me a further $8 to fix this part of the pants which is torn. $8 is not much to pay but i believe there is no integrity here. They were not able to speak english as well thus we have to communicate with another customer who decided to translate for us. We decided to pay the amount and get them to fix this and this will be the last time we will head there for any service. Was just about to post this review and saw other bad reviews as well for this shop. Kindly avoid this shop if possible so you dont have to face similar issues.

Affordable price for shortening of jeans plus collect in 1 hour time. The boss is very professional and kind - I wanted a shorter length but he suggested longer due to its cutting, and it works! -> very good judgement ?
