Poor workmanship for enlarging two pants waist. Post alteration, central belt holder at back of pant sewed back poorly. Owner claimed doesn't matter and when I insist, minor rework grudgingly. Ended up sending to another alteration shop to rework.

I visited her place to have my white dress shirt taken in around the waist and sleeves. The slipshod and nonchalant attitude of her and her team of tailors left me feeling extremely dissatisfied. The tailors were not accomodating at all and were rude to me because I could not understand chinese. She did not adhere to the measurements I gave her and told me that my body was too skinny, hence she could only alter the shirt up to a certain extent or it would not flatter my slim figure. I insisted that she follow the measurements I gave and she agreed to have it completed within one and a half hours. However to my utter dismay, the finished product was unevenly sewed and did not fit as well as I expected. The sleeves and waist still had quite a bit of excess fabric which was contrary to my initial request. She even proceded to charge me $3 extra for her services as she claimed it was "rushed within the day itself." I am apalled by the sub-par quality of service and workmanship of her and her team of tailors and highly recommend you to reconsider your decision if you intend to visit her shop.

Meihua from MH Alteration helped me so much with my wedding dress. Mine had to be altered to a bigger size which is more challenging, but she took up the risk and it's beautifully done. She took time to listen to my concerns and re-altered until I was happy. Thanks, Meihua.

UPDATE: Hmm....for those who said MH Alteration using other photo with another shop brand, apparently people can clearly see that the photo was not uploaded by owner(by clicking on the photo and check the uploader username). It seems to me that the uploader has mistakenly uploaded the photo with another shop name on their side or did it intentionally to create unnecessary misunderstandings to the 2 shops. I met the lady boss personally and she asked for my help to remove the photo from their side since she is not that familiar with IT/internet. I can't understand why there are some other reviewers just simply rushed to prejudge and put nasty comments without clarifying with the shop owner first. I've several old office pants' circumference tightening or having with holes at the back or inside pockets, was thinking of throwing them away already, luckily I met the lady boss's husband and he mentioned that they are doing clothes alteration services, so I decided to give it a try. I gave the lady boss around 10 pants/jeans and they all turned out patched and taken out nicely in a few days . It saved me a lot of money!

Received quick and well-priced alterations here and the seamstresses are friendly and helpful. They were a bit unorganized when it came to finding my order but luckily I recognized the bag I left with them to put my alterations into so I was able to spot it. I even picked up my order a day earlier than scheduled which was convenient.

The fact that MH Alteration used photo from the well-established Michelle Alterations shop front goes to show what credibility this shop has. Please remove the photo belonging to Michelle Alterations as you are not affiliated to them at all. The authentic Michelle Alterations is at #03-126 for those who want the real good tailoring work!
