β β β β β Ramen was on the hard side and felt they could have given more noodles. Soup was also too salty. That being said, still a hearty bowl and generous cha shu for only $12.90. The curry rice is heaps of carb with fries added as well but on a whole, nothing special.

β β β β β Hakata ramen style with springy thin noodles, we'll balanced soup that's not overly salty.
Spicy soup can do with more spicy kick.
Chawanmushi steam egg, fried karage chicken and gyoza was yummy.

β β β β β It's a decent place and it has a very tasty flavour, better than other places I tried. I've been there twice while I was in SG on Jul' 17 and on Feb' 18 and it was the same quality.

β β β β β Okay for a weekday lunch. They had a lunch set $12.90 that comes with a hot drink, a side and a bowl of ramen. Found the broth slightly on the salty side

β β β β β Standard has dropped quite drastically. Chashu Ramen now comes with a single thing slice of chashu that is barely bigger than a single slice of the salami you'd find on a pizza.
The chawanmushi, which is supposed to be the appetizer, was also served last.
The owner really needs to bring back the old standard of doing things here, or this franchise might just be destined to die out.

The black soup base is just amazing. Chawanmushi has a very soft and fluffy texture as well and in general the food here is worth the price tag, especially if you get their premium set.
Side dishes were on-par with expectations, nothing very special there, but the meal was very satisfactory.

β β β β β First time here. Decided to try this restaurant because not very crowded and we were hungry. Place was cosy not noisy and clean. Black soup ramen taste really nice and we like it but can be more generous with the chashu, even though chashu also taste so so only. Spicy ramen average though. All the side dishes not bad. Price is okay for the set meal.
