Rolling Rice Marina Square #02-105

Located in a corner on the 2nd floor of Marina Square, opposite the food court area. Cosy little corner but quite a number of seats in the restaurant. Food was overall not bad, though a little not worth it for the price point. But no svc charge and they have a quite a good variety of fried chicken, noodle dishes, soup/stew, rice rolls and main dishes.

Quiet on a friday afternoon. We had the Traditional Gimbap which was pretty good, the ratio of rice to filling was great. Tofu Stew with additional pork, quite below average... the pork slices kinda smelly, and broth wasnt very flavourful, you can taste the spice more than the broth. Also had the Ginseng Chicken, portion is huge. Half a chicken provided. But..... we found a fly in the soup.......... Kimchi side dish is free flow but we barely had any cause its so bland.

Really like the spicy pork soup from rolling rice. Always served piping hot. Also ordered the cheesy toppoki on our last visit but find it on the sweet side. The creamy toppoki was better. Hoping to have a creamy cheesy toppoki option. The gimbaps and twigims are really nice too. You can ask for kimchi refills.

We queued for 20 mins for lunch time on a weekend. Wide variety of of Korean ubiquitous dishes. Large serving size. The dishes were not too salty, and they were served hot. Authentic Korean taste. Free kimchi, chicken seaweed soup and plain water. Ordered using the QR Scan. Fairly good service. We paid $56.84 for Gimbap, Tteokbokki, Spicy Chicken on Hot Plate and Kimchi Fried Rice. No service charge but GST applied.

All ordered was “must try”. Kimchi rice and kimchi soup was rather salty while kimbap was bland. +$2 chicken in soup we thought will be chicken thighs but turn out to be chicken breasts. Filling meal but mediocre, not sure is it bcos we didn’t order the right dishes

Authentic korean food! Comes with free seaweed soup and kimchi. Portion can be quite big. Sushi roll is average but their toppoki is great! Worth a try!

I read many reviews before deciding to try this. Seems like not all the time u can trust google reviews.. They dont provide sides.. except seaweed soup AND kimchi which they will only give you when your food arrive.. Errrr... This is new to me... Surprisingly, the seaweed soup is not bad.. We ordered, 1. Garlic Soya Chicken - must try for this! definitely not some hoax stall owners anyhow claim *Korean Fried Chicken* this is quite legit! 2. Fried Kimmali - I enjoy this very much though! Totally love this I think 1 plate is not enough. Dip it with army stew/kimchi or tofu soup! Its perfect! 3. Kimchi Stew - I like this! But it can be salty for some people. 4. Kimchi Pancake - I am a fan of korean kimchi pancake. Whenever the eatery cannot make good kimchi pancake, they are done. It is gooey, very floury and too chewy. It is one of the worst I have ever eaten. And they do not come with sauce until I asked for it.. And they gave me soya sauce.. Really? 5. Stir Fry Pork Hotplate - Another no go for me. Too much gochujang? And the white rice that comes with it... I didnt want to have 2nd mouth.. 6. Traditional Gimbap - rice is again bad.. bland for the rice.. luckily the beef is well marinated.. it kinda balance out.. 7. Salmon & Cheese Roll - bland.. son said its bad, i didnt try.. 8. Homemade Pork Cutlet Roll - bland.. no taste and dry pork cutlet.. Clearly, I may have made a few bad choices today.. They may have more food that are better which I didnt order..

PLS EAT HERE! Food is really good especially the tteokbokki and the kalguksu!! Theres no service charge, so it's quite affordable! They have free flow plain water too :) Medium level spice is quite spicy so be warned haha! Will definitely come back again to try other dishes!!
