Amazing cafe overlooking the nice view of botanic garden. I’m a regular here and enjoy the awesome breakfast and freshly baked breads. Open concept as your seeing the baking and service staff multitasking and all with the tiny space. Their really famous with their sticky buns and sourdough granary loaves.???

It was a wonderful small cafe and bakery hidden on the corner of the building. The simplicity and authenticity of them all being simple are amazing. Fresh bread and pastry, though the space are small and have to wait for table as when they gets busy, They’re really are. It’s pretty understandable nowadays. Oh btw their sticky bun are really the best in town.

I've tried @simplybread’s sticky buns before, but this time they were much better!! I'm not sure if it's because it's served hot and I ate it on the spot. It was so fluffy, soft, and chewy that @giellybelly4 and I ordered two to have it there and 2 more to take home. Best is it's only $2.5 each.... Which I think is really reasonable! We expected the orange fantan to be underwhelming after trying the sticky buns, but it was unexpectedly food too! I thought their sandwich was decent; after all, you can't go wrong with ham, cheddar, and mustard right ??

Quaint cafe corner that offered a quiet respite. Was refuelled by their honest cup of ice latte and all day breakfast set. The vibes I’ve got teleported me back to Birmingham’s jewellery quarters. Love it! β—‘Μˆ

Ordered the chicken sandwich. Service was fast but I found ciabatta too hard for my liking. They only accept cash and paynow/paylah as well.

My GHC sandwich (ham, cheddar, mustard) was simple and well done, exactly as described. Masala chai tea was, however, very weak - believe it wasn't hot enough, tea bag was left in but no fragrance. As others have noted the ambiance here is no frills. But I will be back to try other items.

A pity that This cafe functions like a central kitchen and you have boxes , packs of flour , cans and tins and breads being proofed on trays all around the cafe . Just don’t expect any service when you are here. Just grab and go. A good variety of breads but best if you take away and toast it up at home yourself. My baguette that came was crisp outside but very very stiff and hard inside - and I do love chewy breads - so it’s probably an improper way that the bread was warmed up since they generally do their breads ok . Soup was not hot and I asked for it to be reheated and the already small portion of soup now came back only 3/4 filled and smoking . Definitely very hot now .

A no-frills breakfast place for all ages. Minimalistic and rugged interiors. Sourdough was crispy. I liked their ham steak, which was generously cut thickly. Other items were average. Great for weekend coffee catch-up without breaking the bank.
