It’s been my 4th visit to Millenium Dental (2 years so far) and Dr Shawn has always been very nice and professional. He always starts with a very detailed cleaning of the teeth, and ensures that the patient doesn’t feel any discomfort. Always happy with the service from him and his nurses. Thank you!

Please visit at your own risk!! I visited this dental clinic to do checkup on my brace which is done at other country. Because there are 2 brackets drop and I'm visiting this dental clinic to stick it back to avoid any unnecessary movement cause by this loosen bracket. (The cost of one bracket is $60 and the consultation/procedure fee is $100) When I first met the doctor I already told him the purpose I came today is to stick back 2 bracket as I dunwan anything happen on my teeth just to save money for anything, but he refuse to. The dentist only help me to stick back one bracket,and I ask him to stick back the second one,and he said no need to stick back. I still confirm with him if this is not stick back,will it affect my teeth movement,he said no, there are no impact. I'm sure that anyone will listen to the dentist as he is the professional at this field and I'm not. After a month,I suddenly realised that one of my teeth at the place where the bracket doesn't stick back, had inclined (where originally they are all straight and in placed,as I'm already at my last stage of braces,just waiting to remove the braces), so i called the dentist. And he said that he doesn't stick back the bracket for me is to help me save money (but I at the very beginning already know the cost of stick back the bracket and already prepare for it, i never ask for discount or save money). And I said I also ask if there are any impact if I didn't stick back and he said no at that time. And he answer that that time he think there are no impact,but now there is something happen,how can I put the blame on him ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ can u imagine a doctor say something that are so irresponsible?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ He sounds like what so big deal, u just come back and I stick back the thing for u will do?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️

Dr Shawn has been more than a dental doctor to me, he has became a friend that provides genuine, sincere dental care for me. He has been looking after my dental health for more than 20 years. I have seen him upgrading his dental capacity and equipment so as to provide top service to his patients. His staff is diligent and friendly. I get's reminder call and text for appointment, follow-up call after medical treatment. His dental charges is very reasonable which I really appreciate. A high quality and trustable dental clinic and has been in operation for dozens of years in Bishan. For previous feedback stating over priced, yes, for basic cleaning, you can try more cost efficient clinic. However, for procedure like wisdom teeth extraction, root canal treatment etc etc, strongly recommend millennium dental. Very steady and I sure gave them a big thumb up

I have been visiting Dr Shawn for more than 15 years now (since 2004/2005 when I was a young teenager). He has completely changed my pre-conceived notion of what dentists are supposed to be like. Totally no regrets sticking with him through the years. Dental visits are so fuss-free and relaxing (from the booking of the appointments, to the visit itself and any post dental care (if required) that I almost look forward to each visit. He has done my braces, performed routine scaling/polishing and wisdom teeth extractions - absolutely painless. Friends and colleagues always marvel at me when I say my dental treatments are pain-free and they wonder if I have a high pain tolerance (totally not true). No matter what sort of dental treatments you are going for / have to go through, fret not - Dr Shawn and his assistants are always there to provide the utmost care and encouragement. One cannot deny that the thought of extracting impacted wisdom teeth sounds scary - but the moment you step into his practice, all the anxieties and worries just fade away as Dr Shawn works on you with utmost professionalism (VERY steady hands, very gentle and meticulous) and you will feel very comfortable throughout the entire procedure even if you have the tiniest mouth for him to work in or if you get easily anxious. For someone like me who gets clammy hands at the thought of needles, the local anaesthetic that I had for all the various extractions (braces, wisdom teeth) just felt like a tiny prick and nothing more. To me, given his level of skill and professionalism, I completely trust him when he has assessed that I need to get anything done, be it a filling or a fluoride treatment which are all reasonably priced. I rather get my treatments done by someone whom I can trust and get the job done properly, rather than going to a cheaper one where I feel uneasy / uncomfortable (or where the level of hygiene is poor). As always, 2 way communication is very important - if you have any concerns, feel free to voice out / ask (even the silliest ones) as he will take his time to address those concerns. Highly recommended! And thanks Dr Shawn for all the care through these years!

Have been visiting Dr Beng for the past 8 years for braces, extractions, fillings, wisdom tooth surgery and regular cleaning + polishing. Because of the terrific job he has done with my braces, my whole family visits him for our regular dental check up now! I agree that the prices are on the steeper side, but I think they are justified for his skills are really exceptional. My wisdom tooth surgery was done within 30 minutes, without any pain or swelling. I also appreciate that the anesthetic injection was done without any warning so that I wouldn't have time to fear about it cos it's already done (some may disagree, but it's all up to personal preference). I see why there are many negative reviews, but I believe they are mostly due to communication problems which can be avoided if you just clarify with the dentist in the first place. Don't be afraid to ask because they are very friendly! If the dentist offers a service you didn't expect (e.g. x-rays) and he doesn't inform you about the cost, ask him. If cost is a concern, the dentist can advise you from there and you can make the final decision to proceed or not. I don't believe he is out to cheat your money because I delayed my wisdom tooth extraction, thinking that it will cost me another $1k like my wisdom tooth surgery did previously, but he clarified that it was an extraction and would only cost $100++. If he wanted to cheat my money he could have just charged me $1k. So again, the onus is on the client to voice his/her concerns, and then work out a solution with the dentist. Sure, you can find cheaper services elsewhere, but a reliable and trustworthy one is hard to find. And I'm glad I can trust Dr Beng with my teeth!

My teenage daughter had wisdom tooth grown slanted. When we were on our way there, she was very fearful. However, when she was there, Dr Beng was very assuring and she went ahead to remove all four. The whole procedure went well. The nurse called to check if she was alright the next day. In fact, my daughter said pain had already subsided the next day ? Highly recommended!
