β β β β β Was referred here to do swab test from my usual clinic. Waited for more than 2.5 hours, as they place priority over their walk-in patients. They will keep slotting their walk-in patients before of you, and you just have to wait.
Requested to come back in 30mins or move my appointment to afternoon (more than 8 patients ahead of me, been waiting for 2hrs at this point), but nurse said to just wait or they will cancel the appointment and you have to re-register and queue all over again in the afternoon.
Suggestion:
- If queue is long, pls allow patients to go back and rest if itβs within reasonable time frame.
- Or pls inform MOH that you are not able to cope with demand of swab test patient, so other clinics do not divert their patients here and wait aimlessly.

β β β β β Horrible waiting time and very rude Malay staff at the counter. 1. I queued since 7pm abd the patients only start going in at 750ish pm? Was even told the doctor will be in by 720pm. Rubbish. 2. The neighbourhood here is so noisy and I was worried I couldn't hear my name being called so I requested to wait inside but was rudely rejected. Horrible service. Wouldn't go here but don't have a choice since all SASH clinics are all located at out of the way places.

β β β β β Dr. Leong is absolutely competent, patient and friendly. I did a swab test at the clinic earlier this week, he patiently explained the procedure, answered any questions I had and was re-assuring (he has done over 11, 000 tests!). The front-counter nurses were thoroughly professional and cordial. Nothing less than 5 stars!

β β β β β I recently moved to Woodlands and this is the nearest clinic available. To the many clinics that I have visited this is fairly the worst experience for people management. I'm amazed they have two staff at the counter yet they ask us to Q starting from 1.30pm so that we can see the doctor at 2pm but then the doctor only starts seeing patient at 2.30pm and even with the Q I still waited for 2 hours before I am actually able to see the doctor. They also said doctor can only see 25 patients so why can't they register the patients and give them a waiting time like ask to come back at a later time. I waited 2 hours to see the doctor for 5 minutes. Terrible. There weren't even seats available for the waiting and even when someone just walked in to register they didn't even notice that he wasn't even queing. Worst way to treat people who are coming to see the doctor and making them wait like that.

β β β β β Just wanted to share my experience at millennium clinic (woodlands Blk 849) today.
Firstly, this has been my family clinic for many years. Dr Leong is very friendly and gave amazing service and care.
However, the Malay staff at the counter was extremely rude. She was calling everyone one by one to register and do declaration. Then told us to queue and wait outside. For those coming in for other issues, they were allowed to sit inside the clinic. And everyone (covid- related) were asked to wait outside. The seats were placed less than 1 metre distancing between all the symptomatic/ HRW people outside the clinic. There was a few people that would walk in with their children or spouse and asked their queries, she was rudely shoo them off to just join the queue. I know this job can be mundane and maybe she is sick of telling every patients the same thing everyday, but she is in a service line. The best she could do is to be kind and tell them nicely. She is not approachable at all!
We were not given a queue ticket to look out for a queue number based on the βbeepβ sound. Instead, the Malay nurse would shout out names from inside, we are literally outside the glass door, and couldnβt even hear properly because some people are really seated at quite a distance. She would then raise her voice and call out our name in an even louder and in a angry manner. Isnβt calling names a breach of PDPA? I also noticed the Malay nurse would be firm and strict to Indians and Chinese people. But I noticed she was laughing and talking to a Malay patient. What kind of service is this if she is being biased based on race? The clinical service is good overall but she can really bring down the reputation of the whole clinic just by not being friendly, and people may not even want to come back. If she doesnβt like her job, she should quit.
Because she makes patients feel bad for being sick.
