★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cozy bakehouse with chic decor. It gets pretty crowded in the morning during breakfast time. I personally love their donuts & cruffins! Tips - visit during lunch time as they tend to have less crowd.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came past this bake house and I remembered I read about it from somewhere. Came in as there was no customer at ard 10plus am. Ordered a Mac n cheese danish as it was recommended by the staff and a chai latte.
Service was pretty friendly and they served the food and drink to my table (yay!). The danish was warm and I loved the distinct layers in the pastry. I am reminded of the nice croissant found in Melbourne’s Lune when I bit into the pastry. I do find that the Mac n cheese on top was a tad heavy and I couldn’t finish all the fillings on top. It would be a great pastry to be shared between friends. The chai latte was kind of a let down. The barista took a little longer than expected to fix my drink, and I find that the spice wasn’t much as I expected, but then again, this is up to individual liking.
Overall Mr Holmes Bakehouse is a pretty great place to hang and chit chat over coffee and sinful Pastries.

Mr Holmes has expands with a new outlet in CBD (near Fullerton Hotel), with a tempting array of their signature pastries along with a selection of outlet-exclusive salad bowls and sandwiches.
Vegan-friendly Roasted Veggie & Hummus ($10) between crusty sourdough toast and Egg Mayo & Candied Bacon ($10) will make an ideal grab-and-go choice.
But for me, the Spam & Egg w/ Kimchi Croissant ($13) is a comforting breakfast option to have. Buttery croissant, slices of SPAM meat and scrambled egg, it is paired with kimchi for an all-in-one kick.
It does get very crowded during lunch hour, and service gets slower so gotta give them more time to settle down and hopefully pick up.
